The accommodation is great and consists of the main bedroom, a separate room for small dining table, mini fridge and sofa/sofa bed if needed and a large bathroom with shower. "Casa Mario Lupa is an excellent base for exploring Citta Alta in Bergamo. Located in an old building the facilities are fine. Our room did not have a window we could use but otherwise we had everything we needed. Breakfast was limited but again ok. The owner was welcoming and helpful."

"The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, they checked a couple of days before what time I would be arriving, with instructions if I was later than 10pm. The room was clean and comfortable. I only stayed one night but I can’t fault this place. "

"Loved the peace and quiet. The church bells are very present, but they are quiet after 10 PM and do not start until 7:30 AM. There is no elevator, so be aware if you need one. Parking is on premises. That was not very clear to us so we ended up dropping our luggage off on the lowest floor. If you go to the parking address first, you’ll end up one floor higher! 😂 The breakfast was fine, the cappuccino was amazing, served by a very nice young gentleman."

"Very comfortable stay. The staff was helpful. The room was very spacious and despite being on the first floor, it was very quiet. Location is convenient to train station and metro so was super easy to get around. Some nice neighborhood restaurants. Laundry room in lower level a big plus. Free water, espresso, tea, croissants and cookies were a nice touch. Only drawback is that area around hotel itself is not very busy with pedestrians at night so felt a little isolated at night.
