"Did not realize until I arrived at the property they wanted an email of my passport and credit card. That they needed additional money than Expedia had asked for. My bad but there was another couple there with the same problem. They were unresponsive to emails. Expedia was no help. Finally got in. Room was clean and large. Bathroom was nice but bed was uncomfortable and room was noisy. Price was good for Lugano. Lack of electrical outlets. "

"Yes parking is difficult but once you are parked you don't ever need to move your car as you have direct access to a ferry port and can travel to virtually any town that borders como di lago. Absolutely incredible experience seeing this beautiful and quaint corner of the world I highly recommend this stay for anyone who wants to have an authentic Italian experience"

"Property was alright but third bed was laid out right in front of the restroom making it a bit difficult to enter and exit the bathroom. In addition, it was on the top floor however elevator only took us to the floor before and we had to carry our luggage through a narrow flight of stairs. Lastly, ac was barely working. Room was hot and there was no fan. Lobby was cooler then our room. There was also only 3 hangers. In a good area though. Convenient and close to a lot of things. "

Very close to Lake Como, with boat stop in Lenno (limited service), much more options for ferries/water taxi just north in Cadenabbia. Only downside is you really need a car to get around (which we had); onsite parking is provided."

"This property is right next to Terminal 2 at the Milan Airport. It can be reached via the loop shuttle bus. The staff was super nice and accommodating. If you need to be close to the Milan Airport, it's a great choice. There's a bar and small restaurant in the hotel, the food was surprisingly excellent. The Milan Airport is close to nothing. However, there's a train station right across the street that takes you most places that you'd need to go, including Milan city center. "

"We booked this 1-night stay before flying out of Milan (MXP) it’s quite far from the city but close to the airport. It takes over an hour by train and almost an hour by taxi. I’m used to hotels that close to the airport having a free shuttle, there shuttle is 5 euro per person per way. It’s a fine stay for 1 night for airport convenience, nothing else. "

Nice stay in Lombardy near MXP

"My business associate and I stayed at the Hotel Osteria della Pista in late June. We had a very nice experience! First, they have their own shuttle van service to MXP, which was very handy. We had a day off and their shuttle driver took us to and picked us up from MXP so we could take the express train into Milan. In Milan, we went to the Leonardo da Vinci Museum, which we highly recommend. In addition to being a nice hotel, they have an outstanding restaurant, which we also highly recommend! Everyone was very nice and fluent in English. During the trip, we also explored several restaurants near the hotel and had wonderful meals. Some of the smaller restaurants did not speak much English, but there were no problems, and we had wonderful dishes. Of note was the Sempione Hotel Ristorante, which is owned by the same family as the Osteria della Pista. We found the shuttle van driver to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. Next time we are in town, this will be our go to!"
