Amazing view and beautiful cabin
Very secluded cabin with a great off the beaten path vibe. The owners were amazing to work with and the accommodation were great. Very comfy and cozy place to relax.
We absolutely loved our stay! Everything was perfect for our wedding anniversary! Cabin is secluded, beautifully decorated and surrounded by nature. We are already planning our next stay!
Beautiful setting, very peaceful and quiet which is what we were looking for. Had everything we needed and our dog enjoyed watching cows and turkeys. Owner was very responsive if we needed anything.

Fantastic Kentucky Cabin
Paradise found…this cabin/location/owners can’t be beat!!! The cabin is immaculate with everything you need. This was our second visit and we are planning our third. 5-Star
This place was absolutely wonderful. The horses were so sweet, the bed was SOOO comfy, the cabin was beautiful. We caught a lot of fish and they were huge! The owner was super kind to us. This place is the perfect getaway from everyday life stresses. We highly recommend it!
The cabin is perfect in every way. The owner texted me before check in letting me know everything was ready, making sure I had the gate code and good directions to the cabin. The next day the owner found out I had an issue with my car trailer. He asked what do I need and what can he help with to fix it. I highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic place relax
This was the 🥈 time we stayed at this place. We have never vacationed at the same place twice before, but we had to come back to the Highview Farms Cabin. This place is fantastic. So completely comfortable! This year was even better than last year. I love the recliner! There was even more cooking utensils and pots than before. Just about anything that you could need. We gifted the cabin with a new set of white china plates, pasta bowls, and dessert plates when we left. The hosts are absolutely wonderful, and have opened a small produce and meat store just down the road. So convenient!Really great place to stay.

Very nice cabin
Nice modern cabin at the top of a hill. Your drive up the road to the cabin will be adventurous to say the least. Wife at first would not continue and I had to jump in the drivers seat. It's really not that bad. Hope it doesn't rain. No central A/C. Only one window A/C in the bedroom upstairs. Surprisingly, it does cool the house, but it is very loud. Literature inside cabin said city or municipal water and safe to drink, but it is not piped direct from the city to the cabin. It appears the owner fills up a large plastic vat of city water out of his home tap and transports it up there. Then uses an RV pump or such to pump it in the house? We opted not to drink the water as in our opinion it had a strange smell. It may be safe, but we drank bottled water. No shower. Only a bath when we were there. However, if you like to take a bath, the wife said it was nice. Great backyard fire pit with plenty of wood. Overall, a good get-a-way.

Most Relaxing getaway ever!
My boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere to go over Labor Day weekend to get away and relax and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect place! It was the most beautiful cabin with the most fun little detailed decorations! Every day we would notice some other thoughtful little touch that they put. We enjoyed sitting on both sides of the cabin and walking around the farm with our miniature schnauzer and were amazed at just how quiet and serene it was. We met Farmer Jimmy & really enjoyed learning about the farm & animals, but the cabin is isolated at the top of a hill and we felt so much privacy. The road up was the only thing that was slightly scary to go up as it is steep and narrow - was happy to have AWD & a mini SUV with ground clearance to get up there! Our absolute favorite part was waking up the one morning to a front yard full of cows! Jimmy had asked us when we got there if we wanted him to section them off so they didn’t come up there, but I’m so glad we didn’t as we sat for hours watching them and even having them come up to us for a pet! The view of the stars without light pollution on the nights that weren’t cloudy were breathtaking! Downtown Berea was only about 20 minutes away for grocery shopping and we also went to nearby Pinnacle hiking trails, which were tough, but totally worth the hike to the top for the view (but glad we did NOT bring our dog)! We were sad that there store had gotten sold out of everything before the holiday weekend. We never usually visit a place more than once, but we are already checking our schedules to plan a second visit!

It's really not that bad. Hope it doesn't rain. No central AC (which is in listing) Only one window A/C in the bedroom upstairs. Surprisingly, it does cool the house, but it is very loud. This cabin is OUTSTANDING! From the cleanliness to the breathtaking view we had an absolute amazing time here. We will absolutely be booking this cabin again very soon!
Very beautiful place, lovely farm setting and loved seeing the cows and horses! Loved we could fish as well we will be back again!! Very easy to get ahold of the host they also got a farm store you will need to check out for all your meats and needs! They went above and beyond our expectations!
Amazing time away from reality. Such a beautiful quiet little spot. Gravel drive is rough but to be expected on a working farm. Our favorite part was feeding and loving on splash and precious (horses). Highly highly recommend this little getaway.
Beautiful, clean cabin. On a working farm, but private up on a hill. Driveway is a bit rough, but not a problem.

The cabin and property were great. Very clean and real nice get away in the country. The hosts were very friendly and always prompt with any communications we had with them. We would highly recommend the cabin and the hosts!
We enjoyed a long weekend in this secluded, spacious and nicely decorated cabin. There is a full kitchen to make your own meals and the working gas grill was greatly appreciated. You k ow those can be a gamble. We made good use of the wraparound porch to eat meals, look at the stars and talk with the cows. Yes, the cows may stroll through the yard! The host is welcoming and took us to feed the horses. The driveway is steep but you will make it if you take your time. This is a wonderful getaway!!!
This cabin is located in the most beautiful farmlands. It has everything you need and Jim
& Trish are the most gracious and accommodating hosts you could ever ask for.
We would recommed this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, nature filled stay and a short drive to so many shops, groceries, etc.
