This cabin has alot of space for a large group - up to 8!
So get your family and friends together and book this secluded cabin today!!!!

This getaway is located 2.5 miles from the trail head of the Ricketts Glen State Park Falls Trail - home to 22 amazing waterfalls. The cabin is also in close proximity to Lake Jean - where you can rent a kayak/canoe, go to the sandy beach of the lake, swim, fish, or ice skate!
The possibilities are endless!

Enjoy the peace of country living or go mountain biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, trail running, or hunting.

The cabin is in a very quiet location. The cabin is rustic yet has many modern amenities - air conditioning, fully stocked kitchen (utensils, place settings, glasses, cooking utensils, pots/pans), Wi-Fi, Sling TV, and outdoor fire pit and grill.

A child’s high chair and pack and play is available for use - free of charge.

This cabin has a large open living space with a loft and 3 bedrooms.
2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom downstairs.
1 large bedroom and loft upstairs.
The maximum occupancy is 8.

Indoor fireplace is electric.

Linens and Towels provided for an additional fee - upon request.

Firewood for the outdoor firepit is not provided but is sold nearby and onsite.
Please purchase firewood nearby for the firepit. Due to lantern fly infestations in other parts of PA, we prefer you do not bring firewood from outside the area.

When staying between Nov - April some snow accumulation should be anticipated in the area. A FWD, AWD, or 4WD vehicle is best for these conditions - as driveways and roadways may have some snow cover.

There is an exterior camera located on the property for security.

We encourage all of our guests to purchase travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances and cancellations. FALLS TRAIL SYSTEM UPDATE: As of 4/1/25, the Falls Trail system is now fully open for the summer season with no restrictions. Please make sure you wear proper footwear for the rugged terrain (hiking boots, not flip flops or sneakers), bring plenty of water, know and do not exceed your physical ability level, and plan your route so you end up back where you parked.

    3 min drive - 3.9 km
  • The best hike if you like waterfalls, to be precise there are 22 of them. To see them all you will have to hike for about 7 miles. Dog friendly. I highly recommend you won't regret it! The hike is not very difficult, with accessional hikes up and down, but it is long considering that you will stop to admire and take pictures at most of the waterfalls. Bring lunch, snack and water if you planning to see all 22 waterfalls.

Our first time trip to Ricketts Glen was great and the cabin was perfect. Our home away from home was cozy and quaint with the perfect location. We will definitely consider staying here again if we visit again!

Great Stay

The property is in a beautiful location. Very quiet and wonderful wooded surroundings. They had everything we needed for my toddler. The house was very clean and the owners communicated very well.

Secluded cabin

Went to hike Ricketts glen for a couple days and this place is in perfect location, only a few miles from the park. The cabin is nestled back in the woods, surrounded by forest and we had plenty of privacy Place was very clean and had great communication with host . Looking forward to going again

Quiet and peaceful

This spot provides easy access to the incredible Rickett's Glen and is a lovely private home on a quiet dirt road. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware and the house accommodated our whole family nicely. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and taking in the forest sounds.

Adorable cabin

Cute cabin. Secluded yet close to Ricketts Glenn, restaurants and a corner store. Only minor complaint was there are alot of cobwebs in the upstairs bedrooms. Overall a great little cabin. Owner reached out several times to check on us and keep us updated!

Charming Cabin Close to Rickett’s Glen

What a perfect weekend with our family at this cute cabin so close to Rickett’s Glen! The property is secluded and peaceful. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. It had everything we needed for our group. The owners were great with their communication. They were available, but not intrusive. Thank you for a great experience!

Great spot close to the waterfall hike!

Quiet, peaceful and pretty much everything you want if you are trying to shut down busy life for a few days. My family and I booked two nights here before our stay at camelback resort. This cabin is right down the road from the trailhead at Ricketts Glen waterfall hike and about 10 minutes outside of a small town where you can grab breakfast, dinner and drinks. Very relaxing. Recommend and we will book next year.

Very Nice Cabin

5 minutes from Ricketts Glen Park, and a nice ice cream place just a couple minutes from cabin. Kitchen is nicely stocked. Beds are comfortable. Quiet. Quiet. Quiet. Host is very responsive. A gem. Enjoyed our stay--highly recommend!

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is very secluded and private. Everything was clean and comfortable. Just be aware, there is no a/c in the bedrooms, although fans are provided. There is a mini-split unit for the living space. The weather was fairly cool when we were there so it did not impact our stay very much, but if it was hot, it would not have turned out so well. Host was wonderful and very responsive. She checked in with us after the first night just to be sure everything was okay. Would recommend.

Cozy Home Close to Ricketts Glen

We enjoyed our stay at this property just a mile away from friends staying at another VRBO. The home was roomy for our guests and the beds were comfortable. The amenities available were all as described in the listing. The drive to Ricketts Glen State Park was less than 10 min. There is a super cute ice cream shop that is a must visit just down the street. Be aware that you do need to request towels and linens for an additional charge, which we did and worked out great but did not realize this until after we booked. Great property, great area! Thank you!

Great location for Rickett's Glenn trip

Very nice property. Communication with host was wonderful. Cabin is well appointed. Games were appreciated. Only 10 minutes to Rickett's Glenn. There was some leaking from skylights, but nothing terrible, and the host did let us know of this when we arrived. We musunderstood the listing so didn't realize there was additional fee for towels and sheets, but host made us aware of the charges beforehand so we just brought our own. own.sheets, but

Great place and exactly as advertised (no surprises). The property was spacious, clean, comfortable with everything in good working order. The kitchen was well-equipped and stocked, making it ready for food prep. The property location was remote (we knew this from our research) which equaled quiet and peaceful. The host (Jessica) was incredibly responsive (we got responses within an hour of every query). A GREAT stay, which we would rebook again in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed our stay, they had almost everything. We had some leftovers and there wasnt anything to put it in or wrap it with like saran wrap or a baggie or tin foil and we looked for a lighter for a fire but found a small book of matches. We LOVED the cute little coffee bar that was set up. Everything was clean and tidy and comfortable and close to Ricketts Glen State Park.
