Booking now for fall and winter getaways and summer of 2025!! This Chalet is completely remodeled and has gorgeous panoramic views of Lake Michigan! This unit is in the exclusive beach block section of this fun family resort. Enjoy beautiful sunsets right on your deck! It no more than a 2 minute walk to the beach.

Enjoy all of the community amenities: heated outdoor pools, basketball court, tennis courts, shuffleboard, volleyball, horseshoes, ping pong, playgrounds, fishing pond and more! Southern Michigan Gem

This was the perfect Midwest vacation for our young family. Having everything we needed (beach, pool, playground, basketball) within walking distance was perfect. The property was as described and we had a wonderful stay.

Great Stay At Michigan

The house was very clean and the amenities were great. Having access to 2 pools and 2 beaches within easy walking distance was very nice. Kids also enjoyed the various playgrounds.

wonderful time @ a great place

My family (3 kids ages 5-9) spent wonderful 3 nights at Ben’s home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations (private beach, 2 pools, playgrounds, tennis courts and etc.) We cannot wait to come back next year.

Family vacation

It was a wonderful get away for our family of five. The boys loved the arcade. We loved the short walk to the private beach. Not having to pack everything in the car to go to the beach was wonderful. The pools were clean and warm. It was a great trip!

Family weekend beach getaway

My family of 4 stayed at this amazing property with great water views! We enjoyed using the amenities the location had to offer such as the pools, basketball courts, and playgrounds. Our kids enjoyed the private beach to build sandcastles and enjoyed to public beach to throw rocks at the waves. The best part was watching the sunset every night from the beach or our back deck. I would definitely recommend this property to friends/family and would like to stay here again in the future.

Lovely spot

This was our second stay at the property, and it is lovely. The views are glorious and it is a nice space for a family of 5. The down side is that this home is showing signs of wear in the two years since we were first there. The bathroom was quite musty, screen in the bathroom and ceiling fans were covered in dust, the remote was out of batteries, and the mattresses are very, very soft. Everything else was quite clean. The resort is great with lots of activities, and the sand toys and games provided by the property owners were a lovely amenity. Overall this home is worth the stay, and we will likely be back.

Nice and quiet

Very clean. Plenty of cookware, utensils and dishes. The view of lake was okay. Comms with owner prior and info book in chalet was great. Beds were comfy. Were there cons? Sure, what place doesn't. Beach was okay. The stairs were a killer for a couple of older people. The drive up ramp was a lifesaver. We loved the area. Easy drive to stores and eating establishments. It was an nice drive to St. Joe and different beaches. Overall a big thumbs up. Peaceful.

SIX STARS

If I could give 6 stars I would. We loved everything about this place! The community of these homes was so cute and invited. After driving around we decided that we picked the best one. It was one of the few houses that was build on a hill that had a raised porch so had a great view of the lake! We were right across from the playground which was perfect for my 5, 4 and 2 year old. My husband and I could sit on the deck and have perfect view of them! It was a very short distance to the beach and the pool. I would recommend a wagon if you have little ones because although it is a short walk with all your beach gear it was very helpful we brought one. There is an umbrella/chairs and beach toys that we used and were perfect! The private beach was full of rocks in the water but my kids actually loved playing with them all! The house was overly clean and had minimal decor, which I actually prefer because then we had more room for our stuff. The bed rail in the upper closet was perfect for our youngest and the NBA jam was a huge hit for all! We hope to book another trip here! This is one of the better homes we have stayed in and I tend to have high standards!

Would absolutely stay here again. Enjoyed the proximity to the water. Great breakfast spots nearby. Heat worked well and kept the place warm.Water smelled off (mold?) and the check out process was outdated (binder falling apart, instructions asked us to put towels in a non-existent laundry basket).

This chalet was clean and comfortable. We loved the front porch facing the lake and the ease of waling to the beach. The bedrooms were great, comfortable beds, dresser drawers for clothes, fans available (though we opened the windows and didn't need the fan). The kitchen was well supplied and the shower was great.

Really great property- the private beaches were amazing. Also was a short drive to Silver Beach for the carousel. Our kids loved the playgrounds, pools, and sports activities on the property! This condo also had board games, sand toys, beach chairs, and even corn hole which made the stay so much more fun for us! Will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this Chalet! It was a great location and property with many amenities. The pools were closed during our stay despite what the actual Chalet on the lake resort website said (appears outdated), but that was okay because the beach was perfect. We enjoyed being close to St. Joseph so we could go explore. A few things to know about this unit: bring a hair dryer, pull out the box fan to help cool the lower part, and you can find the ladder to the bunk beds under the bed. I agree with others that the mattresses to the bed were really soft and sunk in a bit and the fans were covered in dust, but

Fun packed beach getaway!

Cozy spot with wonderful views of the water and a short walk down to the beach! Heated pool was perfect after the beach and we enjoyed the playground there as well!

Perfect Family Getaway

We had a great time at Chalets on the Lake! It was perfect for a family getaway- so many fun activities to enjoy! We loved the beach, pool and playground. Also only minutes away from stores and restaurants. We want to come back next year!
