Our family of three was looking for a peaceful getaway near the Red Mountain wineries and found it here! Location, cleanliness, communication with owner, full kitchen, and access to peaceful outdoor space by the river (filled with morning birdsong) were all beyond expectation. We further enjoyed the connection with our gracious host Gary. One of our best trips to Red Mountain yet!

I loved everything about this place: its location on the river (and wine country), its immaculate, thoughtful presentation, it's wonderful host, Gary. I went here to fish for a few days, and I'll be back!

Restorative

Great place to relax and enjoy the country, along the Yakima river. Quiet, clean, and just across the river world class wine region, Red Mountain AVA. Would also be great for traveling workers.

Close to the wineries.

The location is right by the river and close to all the wineries. Gary was very accommodating and had left lots of goodies on the counter and in the fridge for us. It was clean and quite comfortable for the two of us. Sitting at the picnic table each morning having breakfast and enjoying the river was a highlight for sure.

Asked straight forward to begin with did anyone live here and was told it was renovated and listed as rental, screenshots to prove, upon arrival i noticed it looked as if it was connected to someones house, looked at the kitchen and the door was locked from opposite side so they weirded me out also, just never about people these days with how things are especially way back away from everything, who knows what could have happened in a worst case scenario, had me so sketched out that i just decided to go book a hotel, seemed like something you see in the scary killer movies
