In addition, the high-quality split-system air conditioners in the bedrooms ensure a pleasant indoor climate, so you can start your day well-rested even on hot days. This makes us one of the few providers that offer our guests this level of comfort.

As of summer 2024, we have taken over the “Strata Montana” holiday rental in Bensheim from the previous owners. We are now looking forward to managing the holiday rental and offering you a wonderful place to stay.
Together with our daughter, we also enjoy exploring new places and spending plenty of time with our family. That’s why we know from experience that a place to stay should not only be a place to sleep but also a place where you feel at home during your stay.

The Bergstraße—called “strata montana” by the Romans—between Darmstadt and Heidelberg, with its vineyards and wine-growing landscape, is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike in every season. The Wine and Holiday Route is well worth experiencing; it’s restful and relaxing for all the senses.
Explore numerous castles, palaces, and historic town centers in a Mediterranean climate and bring history to life. Bensheim, with its approximately 40,000 residents, is part of the Hessian Bergstraße and, sheltered by the hills of the Odenwald, is one of the warmest regions in Germany.
Historic half-timbered houses—including the oldest in southern Hesse—and idyllic squares invite you to marvel and linger. Bensheim’s picturesque city centre, with its numerous shops, boutiques, cafés, restaurants, and quaint pubs, invites you to enjoy stress-free shopping, strolling, and relaxation.
A visit to the “Auerbacher Schloss” castle ruins, the Museum of City and Regional History, the “Fürstenlager” State Park, and the “Kirchberghäuschen” is also well worth your time. Of course, hiking enthusiasts and cycling lovers will also find plenty to enjoy. Numerous hiking trails and cycling/mountain biking routes in Bensheim and the surrounding area are just waiting to be explored.
