No one greeted us, never heard from anyone on property. A wedding was going to be happening so we weren't important. And brochure said breakfast at the main inn and that was not happening. No food on the property.

After 32 years as a bed and breakfast, we also made the shift in 2020 to only provide catering for group events. This is very clear on our website. Family ski trip
My wife and I and two adults daughters (24 and 27) and one dog had a wonderful weekend to ski at Bromly mtn. Our cottage/room at the Wilburton was perfect. Two large, comfortable queen beds, a mini-kitchen with fridge, stove, dishes and sink (a little small) allowed us to pack our lunch and get take-out from Thai Basil (excellent). The Inn even found us a dog sitter for Saturday while we skied. Remote check-in so we never met anyone in person but it worked out perfectly.

Beautiful property and easy to find south of Manchester. Instructions were excellent but we could not lock the room. We never saw or met a staff member. You have to visit Equinox Mountain😍

Unique place, art on the grounds. Close to shopping and hiking. We had a nice room with a beautiful view of the mountains, and enjoyed a nice sunset from our deck. The grounds themselves seem neglected, I’m not sure if this is due to Covid, but it could certainly use some TLC. We never saw any employees on the grounds, and were sent no instructions on how to check in. I called them and was given instructions on what to do. I suppose due to Covid they are doing contactless check in. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, place to stay for a night this place fits the bill. The coffee machine was so so. I quest traveling during Covid means you can’t expect the same hospitality.

This is a beautiful old mansion... exactly what we were looking for for a short get away. Our room had a wonderful view, and the staff were very welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic. My only complaint is that the website indicated that it was a short drive to Stratton ski area, when in fact it was about a 25 minute drive.

Friendly service. Comfortable room. Atmosphere around grounds somewhat odd: philosophy of owners obtrusive, with statement of their beliefs hanging from tree outside our door, brochures, display under glass in table in main living room, shrines and didactic statues scattered around grounds etc. in our room, no glasses or cups or utensils. Nice little kitchen but no way to use it. Just little plastic cups for coffee machine—maybe appropriate to roadside motel but not to nice inn. When asked they brought some cups and bowls in very nice wsy, but room could have been better equipped to start with. Breakfast very nice but 8;30 a bit late to start service. Very nice place overall, wonderful views, but not to everyone’s taste.

The staff was beyond friendly- we will come back simply because of the experience here. What a wonderful family owned place. The hospitality was unparalleled to the point where we commented on how we loved the fresh baked bread they served at breakfast and they sent us home with a loaf of it! Just a beautiful place with a beautiful vibe. We will be staying there again!

2 star hotel. Not the quaint bed and breakfast as advertised. Badly in need of renovation. Cracked ceiling. Stained drapes. Dead bugs. Antiquated bathroom. No Wifi. And also a barking dog outside as I went to sleep. Completely misrepresented. Hotels.com should stop selling this one as its description is borderline fraudulent. Feels like a haunted mansion. I was charged a 4 star rate. Ripoff. Go somewhere else.

Beautiful setting with a fantastic view of the mountains. The staff was friendly and professional. The included breakfast was great with a multitude of homemade and locally sourced foods. The room was what you would expect from classic New England inn. It was clean and beautifully decorated.

The property is amazing- very scenic. The facility needs something though. ...I get that it’s quaint and old but very eclectic art around the home and grounds made it feel a bit of an oddity for me and the inside needs some updating. Carpets are old and dead flys seen about the breakfast dining area. Expedia also made it sound like the placed served dinner—not the case. The staff were amazing but no staff is on duty at front desk for late arrivals or over night, so after 6pm you are on your own. I found that odd. Was only guests in main house and they never told us —that felt weird. The room was ok...we basically had no view from our bedroom window which was disappointing as the surrounding area is amazingly beautiful. A building ledge was outside our window blocking any view of grounds. The room had lots of extension cords which made me feel, given the age of the home, it was a bit of a fire hazard and what if something had happened? No staff at front desk to assist. A/c were individual to rooms and were window units. Rooms did have smoke detectors though. Bathroom faucet dripped all day and night and shower drained out long after it was turned off for a few seconds.....to hear water we thought a pipe had burst. Doesn’t seem like much money is going back into improvements/updating the house. I read in a review that there were tennis courts there....no one said a word. Never saw them.

One of a kind place in a wonderful town and relatively less expensive than some of the others nearby. Multiple unique rooms with views of of the Green Mountains and interesting property features including an outdoor art collection. Some minor condition issues--could use some updates. Fine buffet style breakfast was included. Family business---in a good way.

The views from this property are spectacular! We had a newly renovated room that was lovely and the peach pancakes with real maple syrup were delicious.

The main Inn is welcoming, charming and has lots of space to meander. Plenty of books to read and art all around. The grounds are beautiful and the view spectacular! Nice for Weddings. The property has a very eclectic vibe if you like that sort of thing. It's not the Hyatt or the Equinox. The Breakfasts are awesome and the home baked breads delish! The coffee was excellent and fresh. The staff really tries their best to be friendly and attentive. We stayed in one of the Strawberry Hill Villas in the ground level. Upon arrival, we noticed that an abundance of leaves had gathered in front of our door, so we had to kick them away before entering. This set an abandoned tone for us. The room itself was clean but smelled very musty and damp like a basement, this was disappointing since we were spending at least 300.00 and change per night. The furnishings felt dated but the bathroom shower looked renovated. We thought of going elsewhere but were afraid we would lose all of the money we spent because the Wilburton deducted the amount due immediately upon our arrival. I believe that the Wilburton could be a wonderful place during the Summer months. Overall the place looks like it is in need of a financial innoculatio. I would give it 3 stars
