Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
The room was small, basic shabby & not totally clean. There was a small tv on the wall below it was a desk with a plastic chair not exactly a work station & no plug socket anywhere there to use.
It said toiletries included so I didn’t bring any as only there 4 nights but that inc shampoo & shower gel that was it I asked at the reception for son conditioner as how else could I wash my long hair nope not inc I was told 😡
There was no tea making facility in the room so I asked could we have a kettle I was told you need to go & buy 1 at the shop.
And to top it off I didn’t see anyway but maybe wrong that the hotel was at the highest point at the top of 4 steep hills cardiac arrest !! We couldn’t walk it so each time we walked down we got a taxi bk up at the cost of €6-7 !! Especially after a night out !
They do run a shuttle bus just to the bottom of the hill every 20 min but it was Xmas so times differed.
Phoned down 1 evening as we didn’t go out & asked for room service , was told no sorry we don’t do room service.
And to top it off we had a Spanish family next door but 1 who were in & out slamming door kids banging bk on it & shouting from 7 am so 1 thing we didn’t need was an alarm.
Would I stay again or recommend it no definitely not !!
