"I think my expectations were to high as I had heard great things about the hotel. This could be a semi recent issue however there is a large homeless population behind the property that leads to an unsafe feeling. I was traveling with a pet that needed to be walked in the evening/night and coming face to face with someone in crisis everytime was a bit unnerving. On property parking is very limited. If you drive a larger vehicle it will be a tight squeeze. If you are looking for a mellow peaceful stay this isn’t the place for you as there is party music throughout the location at most time. On the positive side the bed was comfortable and the property is cute. "

"It was as others have described: easy parking outside of rental, easy access, short walk to downtown along the river, safe, quiet, nice space and exceptionally clean. Very comfortable beds and as the owner described one bed was softer and the other was firmer. We preferred the firmer bed. Loved the notebook with restaurant and cafe suggestions. Since we were there to visit OSU Cascade Campus we couldn't do the hikes and other outdoor activities, although we did sneak in a cross country ski at the Nordic Center in Mt. Bachelor. Beautiful day and perfect snow, which was amazing considering how bad this year's snowpack is. Great place all around?"

"Check in was quick with pre check in. Room was clean. It was a bit noisy outside. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Check out was quick. Staff was welcoming."
