Cozy cabin

Cute little house

Unfortunately we only stayed one night. The house was great. It was actually bigger than we expected. We were not expecting the second bedroom with a king. The loft was a great secret "hideaway" for the kiddos. We enjoyed our stay. Management was great with communication and allowed us to check in early.

Great time in Sunriver

We had a great time at this property. The house is probably 40 years old and hasn’t been renovated, but it was in good working repair. We had 2 small issues and the property manager was there extremely quickly to fix it. The location was great. Less than a 5 min walk to the SHARC and only a mile to the village. The carpet probably could have used a vacuum but otherwise, the house was clean. It’s a little dark in the house, but you are supposed to be spending your time outside anyway. I would stay here again.

Very Cozy Place to Stay!

Been coming to Sunriver for over 4 decades. Our stay was Jan/2023 in the snow. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home delivered a sense of Cozy! Ample supply of fresh cut wood. Quiet neighborhood. Only 1 issue to be resolved…Downstairs bedroom had zero heat coming from the forced air vent.

Perfect home base for skiing and exploring.

First awesome surprise happened when we picked up the keys we were told there was a hot tub that has been installed that wasn’t in the listing, awesome. The house was right on one of many wonderful walking/biking paths. The house was well stocked in the kitchen. Plenty of little things like more than one roll of paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent. Great communication initiated by the owner. We will stay here again winter or summer! Look forward to coming back.

Whoever cleaned the house missed things like childrens underware, toys, an umbrella, etc. It could have been cleaner but it was a great place to stay and we would rent it again

Don't stay in this cabin!!!

Extremely dirty and disgusting cabin. Pet hair all over the place including on the pillows and dishes. Toilet was wobbly faucets leaking. Hot water only for a person to shower at a time. Cobwebs on the walls.water damage in the bathroom ceiling.

Family Ski Vacation

Gas grill ran out of gas was the only negative. Very nice property with 2 king size beds and three twins. Enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub. Didn’t have time to check out pool or ice rink. Next time we want to stay more than a couple days!

Wonderful Thanksgiving at #99!

We had an amazing time at #99 over Thanksgiving this year, and hope to return next year as we continue this new family tradition. The cabin had everything we needed - lots of cut firewood for warm fires, good kitchen enabling us to cook our dinners, great grill, and hot tub! Loved our morning walks to the Village for coffee as well! The only thing I would suggest (and the only reason I dinged a star on checkin) is to repair the light for the street # pole in the front of the property. We got there at 6:30pm and couldn't find the unit b/c the light that would've lit up #99 was out, and the only other sign I saw was one indicating units 17-30 were ahead.

Great location, great space, well appointed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 6 adults stay over Christmas and loved the house. Even though it is listed as sleeping 6, it comfortably could sleep 9. There was a pull out sofa and a second loft with a twin bed (essentially a 4 bedroom house). The kitchen was the best appointed of any vacation rental we have stayed in. As with all rentals, BYOK (Bring your own knife). The two king bedrooms were a little cold until we closed off the living room vents. The location was great, easy walking on the plowed paths to SHARC and beautiful vistas over the golf course.

Nice large cabin

This cabin is big enough for a large family or 2 families to stay. It has 2 King beds downstairs and 2 singles upstairs in the loft, with a smaller area above that was a bed. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. There are 4 adult bikes. Location is wonderful, near SHARC & Sunriver Village. Check-in/check out was easy. Hot tub was out of order and so was the washer or dryer (can't remember which). The kitchen had everything we needed. Very nice cabin, but could use some updates, like some new pillows, some pots & pans with lids, a larger coffee pot (only serves about 2 cups per pot), and the beds need to be replaced. The outside deck is lovely to sit out on and enjoy an evening beverage or morning coffee. Overall, I would stay with a Cascara property again.

Quiet Thanksgiving Week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Pole House 99 for Thanksgiving week. Our family of three stayed and our extended family came over from the Willamette Valley for Thanksgiving Day. We found the property to be in a wonderful location, we took walks everyday. And we were able to have a gathering of 9 people with no problems. House was clean and well stocked with what we needed. My 10 year old daughter was disappointed with the amount of spiders (she even wrote about it in the guest book:), but we tried to explain to her about a house that sits empty some in the winter. Furniture is quite old and not very comfortable. (Beds were hard, living furniture was small and uncomfortable, but what you would expect for a rental) My husband truly enjoyed the fireplace, he built a fire everyday and there was plenty of wood provided to do that. We had a problem with the BBQ on Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving right at 5 pm, and someone from the property company came right over. We were impressed by that. All in all, we had a very nice time.

Underwhelming

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the price I expected a bit more but we usually stay in Sisters not Sunriver so maybe this is just indicative of the area. We had a very hard time finding the place including being on hold with the rental company while wandering around in the dark looking for it. Ideally directions should be provided in the welcome email. Once we found the place it was also noted that most of the external lights were burnt out including the one to illuminate the house numbers. The property was poorly stocked. There were no matches and the lighter was out of fuel. There was a washing machine but no laundry soap. This can be remedied by visiting the local store assuming you discover the issues during business hours. The place was not well kept. There is water damamge on the ceiling, the hot tub was cold, there is a hole in the counter that is just covered with a cutting board. We found garbage from previous tenets all around the house. The entire blinds unit fell off the wall when we tried to open them. Looking at it they were clearly just balanced on the railing. The paint is peeling and the lamp was held together with tape.

Great Stay!

We loved our stay at this rental. It was very clean, including the hot tub (we've had bad experiences with other rentals in the past), well furnished, and the perfect distance from activities. It does feel much smaller in person, and the upper loft felt very precarious to reach. The only other criticism I have would be about the key. It was very difficult to lock and unlock the door; it had to be jiggled quite vigoursly to get it to work. That being said, the hosts were very helpful and quick to respond. We really enjoyed the SHARC passes as well as some bonus freebies that were included. All in all, it was a lovely stay and I would highly recommend you stay here too!

Peaceful getaway

This pole house is the perfect getaway rental in Sunriver. Conveniently located, a short walk to the Shark and mall. . Very clean, lots of room ( it will sleep 8) and the beds are very comfortable! Lots of dishes, kitchen accessories and towels. The clean hot tub was a bonus…. Didn’t know it had one! Firewood just outside the entrance for our fire. We will be back.
