Our family enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. This quaint, cozy and quiet property really grew on us over the week. It's close to Sisters, Bend and Redmond but offers lots of privacy. The AC works great as it was a hot Summer in Central Oregon. Working with Jules was easy.
We had a great visit to Tumalo and loved the farmhouse. At first, the house seemed like it might be a bit small, but inside it is beautiful and far larger than we expected- our family of 5 was very comfortable and loved the rooms, cooking in the kitchen, sitting outside looking at the Sisters, and our daughters loved being able to see the animals on the farm (neighbors Stephanie and Kirby were incredible and let them help out and taught them a ton). We also enjoyed dinner in Tumalo, floating the Deschutes, and loads of hikes. It wasn’t exactly our normal Vrbo, but we had a great time!
We loved everything about our stay. The house was quaint and had space for our family of 3 + puppy in tow without feeling like we were stepping on each other. My son loved the reading nook in one of the upstairs bedrooms and we enjoyed the endless outdoor space—whether drinking coffee enjoying the early sunlight or cocktails at sunset, watching the stars, walking the property, splashing in the creek, and daily visits to Soldier (the horse)—we enjoyed cooking and grilling at the farmhouse, and visits to all our favorite brewery’s in Bend just a short drive away. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the AC was nice on the warmest days. Kitchen was well stocked, and the owner was super responsive to our inquiries. It was the perfect space for a week away!
Charming, peaceful, great location, and a beautiful home! I really enjoyed my stay. I spent a lot of time out on the deck under the large pine tree looking out at the fields and neighbor horse. It’s also close to everything!
We were 1 of 4 families who met up in Bend for the week for a family reunion. We each took turn hosting dinners. Everyone had a great time at the farm!
What an amazing farmhouse! I loved the original old school look of everything from windows to latches to furniture! Plenty of room with peace and quiet. It was a great experience for us Ohio folk, though I live in Bend. The on site property overseer’s were amazing and ironically also from Ohio. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
While the cottage was further out than anticipated , the owner was so great with communication. I would recommend a normal size coffee pot but otherwise a great stay.
Five of us ladies in our 60s that are high school girlfriends gathered as one of us lives in Redmond. The property is picturesque, clean and well-provisioned. Beds were comfortable and fireplace (firewood supplied) made for cozy evenings. Kitchen had all the basics although we did not cook much. We did not use the deck much either as it was very cold when we were visiting but the deck overlooks a pond that has many visiting birds so it's a great vantage point. Heater and fireplace kept us warm and comfortable. Very pleasant unique property. Owners responded promptly to our questions. Check-in/out was simple. Thank you Jules.
If you are looking for a cute, quiet stay, off the beaten path but with easy access to Sisters and Bend this is the perfect place. It has the personality for those that want to wake up to the quiet of farm/Ranch life and go to sleep as the sun sets behind the Sisters mountains. In between you can easily explore all that Central Oregon gas to offer and relax on the back porch or around the quaint kitchen. This place is extremely well stocked and has the country vibe of a different time. We will definitely be back and Jules and her team are the perfect hosts. Enjoy!!! Randy and Jean Ann
This cozy cottage was great for our family of 4. The property was beautiful and the host provided great communication. Perfect location if you are attending any events at Rock Springs Ranch.
Lovely relaxing farm house close to Bend - perfect place for friends to gather!
This place was clean, quirky and fun! The four bedrooms were perfect for 5 adults and everyone had plenty of space. We hung out on the back porch under a tree and enjoyed the serene scene. Town was a quick 15 min drive away via the backroads. Highly recommended if you want a great place to gather and relax.
This is a cute, roomy, and very comfortable place to escape the chaos of Bend but close enough to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Home was great for us, our friends, and our pups. We made nearly all our meals here, enjoyed the back deck at night, and took our pups on morning walks around reservoir.
The property was just as described and a great spot to have as a home base as we enjoyed outside activities in the Bend and Mt. Bachelor area. Very nice to have such close access to the Tumalo Reservoir area.
We absolutely loved our stay. It was perfect for my sisters and our spouses. The house feels very homey. Comfortable beds, well appointed spaces, dog friendly, all the kitchen supplies you need, wood fireplace and lots of fun games. It’s a good location not far from bend or the mountain. Would stay here again! Hosts were very helpful and communicative. The groundskeeper lives next door near a new build. We hardly saw them and it felt very private.
