"The entrance and lobby at this hotel are simply gorgeous, a real attention to detail makes this a welcoming environment. The rooms are spacious and clean, and although the balconies are small, they do provide a lovely view. The solarium area and sunbathing spaces are ample and both pools were refreshing. The pool bar has lots of options and a nice food menu. Overall, having stayed in 5 or 6 hotels in the vicinity, Hotel Alay has proved to be my favourite and actually great value for money...

After complaining, we were told we could stay at Benal Beach as originally planned. However, just two days before departure, we were informed that Benal Beach was fully booked, and we were assigned another apartment. The new apartment was much farther from the beach, located on a hill, which made it difficult for us to access....
