Nice little motel by Chippewa National Forest with a good restaurant and grocery store next door. Staff were friendly and check-in process was easy. Rooms have classic decor with movie posters and signs from the 1960s. Room had a smart tv, coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, and recliner.

To start off, staff was super helpful and understanding we were going to get their late and they accommodated for it. We get there, fantastic clean room that looks and smells like it’s out of 1985 (in a good way). Super vintage and cool. My wife and I absolutely loved it. Beds were comfy and clean with plenty of blankets as well. And the shower?? Basically a dang pressure washer! That water pressure is fantastic!! If you’re looking for a VERY reasonably priced motel, and love that old school feeling, this is the place to be. If I ever come out this way again, I’ll stay there for sure!

Staff is excellent and rooms are clean and rooms have different themes such as fishing and hunting and 50s etc. You can call in advance and they can give you a room code to get into your room or you can call the two different numbers on the sign outside and they can give you your room number and then key code. It’s a good price for your money and there’s no full time people living there like some of the cheaper hotels that I have stayed at. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This place had a very rustic and "north woods" feel. Everything in the room was clean and well maintained, but most things were older. (I felt this was a plus- It felt very nostalgic rather than generic). Will stay again!

The rooms are very clean with new carpet and comfortable bed. It was quiet given the location near a highway. There is always some at the property that actually cares if you have a request, need or issue. I will absolutely stay at this locally managed property again.

No hair dryers so had to find Dollar General and spend $16 on one. No shampoo provided either. Teeeny weeeny bar of soap. But super clean and inexpensive . Would stay again.
