"These hosts are very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. They even came looking to find us when we couldn’t find the entrance to their property! The stairs up to the loft sleeping area are very steep, but the bed was extremely comfortable. If someone can’t manage the stairs, there is a pull out sofa also provided. Great location when looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. "

"Such a sweet home, it’s was a wonderful place to stay. The beds were comfy, like being home away from home. Judie and Len were friendly and conversed with us all. Judie gave us some tips for places to see and eat. There were six of us and we genuinely loved it there, we have affectionally dubbed it Grammies place. Nick the cat was friendly addition to the stay. Beautiful home away from home. It was close enough to digby and highway is well lit making the night ride on motorcycles an easy ride. Thanks for everything!"

The accommodation is well cared for and had everything we needed. Super close to a beautiful beach. And to top it off we were able to enjoy the kayaks that Lee offered. I would highly recommend. "

The views are breath taking from everywhere you look. The host, Beverly, was a delight to deal with. So responsive and helpful, providing us with several tips about the area, local cuisine and places to visit. "Had high expectations going in and all of them were exceeded. The house itself accommodated 4 families very comfortably and every little detail was meticulously thought through - host Madison & Jody have clearly put their heart & soul into this place which honours the local Acadian traditions. The property overlooks the ocean which allowed us to take our time and walk on it at low tide. It is located in a quiet community but close to spectacular scenery and beaches such as Smugglers Cove and Mavilette beach where the kids swam and became master beachcombers finding large never before seen sea shells. This place provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of more popular getaways. In truth, we thought the Brier Island Lighthouse easily rivalled that of Peggy’s Cove - and we had it all to ourselves. The place feels like it’s off the beaten path yet still very accessible as it is only 25 min drive from Digby ferry. We all highly recommend this place. Any one looking to catch up with family & friends away from the blare of conventional tourist swells, where the only distraction is a stunning sunset and tidal movements that leave you awestruck, cannot go wrong with the Cove House. Fully satisfied."
