"This is a nice clean place. No frills. The continental breakfast was fine, certainly enough to get the day going without having to go out. No microwave in room, and the in-room coffee is atrocious (but that is not uncommon). It felt safe there and the wifi connection was good. "

"The staff is amazing here, in every way. However the lower floors smelled like urine (they moved us to a higher floor which helped). The rooms window latch was broken so we couldn’t open the window."

"We come down from BC half a dozen times a year and always stay at the Best Western Plus. The location is very convenient, it’s right off the I-5, and unlike so many other hotels that are off the highway in Bellingham, you don’t have problems with homeless people on drug addicts here. So many of the other local hotels are sketchy for that reason. Not this place. I saw something during one day that was going on with a guest that was drug related, and they got rid of that person almost immediately so I feel very safe staying here. The staff are great, the breakfast is decent, and it’s very central to everything. We will always stay here every time we come to Bellingham."

"Quaint little inn located on the bay. Great food very nice rooms. There are train tracks just below the hotel and trains do roll by. It can be loud in the bay side."
