"I was not sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews, but I liked this hotel and would stay there again. The room was clean and comfortable. I was in the “motel” section, and I liked it. I was able to sit outside in the evening and enjoy the view of the lit-up ferris wheel. The service was friendly. I loved the pool bar. The location was ideal - not right on the boardwalk but within a short walk of a few blocks. And there’s a used bookstore around the corner -perfect to stop at before hitting the beach. There is an indoor and an outdoor pool, and I took a swim in both. It was great to swim indoors at night and view the lights of the boardwalk and the town. I stayed by myself and was very comfortable. I did not find it noisy as some said. There was some music playing during the day and early evening, but people are on vacation so that did not bother me. At night it was very quiet, and I had no trouble sleeping. I took a nap one afternoon also and did not find it noisy. Overall, I thought it was a great place to stay. There is also a restaurant. I only ate there once, and my meal and drinks were good. "

"I only visited Wildwood NJ for a couple of days and wanted something within my budget that was clean, safe and friendly. I hit the jackpot with the Hotel on Magnolia East. It was everything I needed and more. It has a great easygoing vibe and is close to the board walk, has plenty of nearby on street parking and is a great home base while enjoying the seashore. The rooms were clean and safe and the evenings were quiet and great for getting restful sleep. It's located on a residential street and it's laid back and peaceful but right in the heart of the action. And there was a church literally next door which made it super easy to attend services on Sunday morning. I found the hotel using Hotels.com and the reviews that I read helped to seal the deal. This is a great place to stay. Don't expect the fancy frills that you might get at a more expensive, big name hotel. Just expect friendly service and a great place to stay for a great price. They even provide complimentary folding chairs for the beach and complimentary bikes so that you can go exploring the area. Enjoy. "
