The commune of Belle-Isle-en-Terre (1100 inhabitants) is located in the middle of a picturesque region in the Pays du Trégor, forests and hills, at the confluence of the rivers Guer and Guic, which form the Leguer when they meet at the exit of Belle Isle. The richness of the site lends itself to many activities of walk and discovery (flora and fauna) as well as salmonid fishing. To the south of the town are the forests of Coat-an-Noz and Coat-an-Hay.
