"The location was good, the room was clean and modern, the bathroom was excellent and, because we chose an ocean view room we had wonderful breezes. My only complaint was that the sheets and bedspread were polyester. Which means, even though the room was cool, we were still bathed with sweat. On our second night we requested a cotton blanket instead of the polyester bedspread and we slept very well."

"Airport shuttle was not arranged. They asked me to whatsapp somebody but they never responded. However the stay was good. Big supermarkets either side and some restaurants walkable. Can walk to town centre. My tour to Altun Ha never arrived so Janny at the front desk called around and managed to book a tour last minute. Next day my Lamanai tour was late and she called to tour company for update. Janny was very helpful talking tour operators after the first one cancelled. Breakfast varies per day from various cooked dishes. If you have early tour pickup you can miss out as does not start till 7.30am "

"We did not get the managet/front desk woman's name ... I'm kicking myself. She was absolutely fantastic!!! From meeting us on check-in, to getting us pizza, to getting my husband a massage. The room was spotless, the amenities were wonderful. We had to syay overnight due to plane issues ... what a great choice!!!!"

"The Fort George is a beautiful, luxury Boutique Hotel experience in great location within Belize city. Very convenient to the Ferry terminal, fantastic and helpful staff, and phenomenal dining. The gym and Spa are also I must to experience."
