"This home is fully furnished and lacks nothing. The beds are comfortable, linens and towels clean and not worn/frayed/stained. Kitchenware was in newer condition. The lake is a beautiful setting. Although it is in a wooded area, the property is sprayed early in season and was not an issue. GPS took us right to address. Amy was a terrific host. "We enjoyed our stay at the cabin--everything was very clean and well organized, with coffee and tea, all the utensils and pots one would need. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of towels. We especially enjoyed the fact that there was a fire pit--lovely for a warm evening. We were able to get back and forth to Colby College in 30 minutes and had dinner in Skowhegan."

"This really is a beautiful setting - it is very private and quiet. The front porch is where we spent the most time in the evenings, hearing the loons call was priceless! The home was clean and well-appointed. Due to these positives, I give it a five star rating. However, a few things are needed to make it even better - repair the holes in the window screens. "Great size, very clean. The posted pictures do not do this camp justice! Lots of upgrades and Beth is very responsive. Beautiful cove with little traffic. Sounds of loons day and night. Great bass fishing too! There is a wonderful dock but be sure to bring your own water toys. Great place for children with neighbors that encourage lots of kid play, exploring/adventuring, and boisterous fun."

"We are a retired couple in our early 70's and have stayed at this cabin every year for the last 12 years. You can't beat the remote location and wonderful view. The cabin is straight out of an LL Bean ad, and about as close to the water as you can get. We normally come in spring and fall to kayak and enjoy the view from the awesome screen deck. Scott is a great host and always responds immediately."

"Myself and 4 friends booked this home on the water for an annual super bowl ice fishing trip. The house was just as described, spacious and comfortable. The pond is beautiful and the fishing was outstanding, we caught fish all day long. Location is good as well, with plenty of restaurants and downtown Augusta within 10 to 15 minutes. Great home for the price."
