Looks fancy but squeezing every penny from guests

The hotel looks so fancy; I was expecting an almost 5 star stay, but it wasn't long before I realised why this hotel is only 4 star; no water or fridge in the room. A cleaner informed me they took the water out of the room to save on costs. When I asked to get some water to the room I was informed there would be a £5 charge. I then went to the bar to get a drink and asked for "water for the room" instead of giving me a jug of tap water with lemon and ice, as you might expect the bar man gave me a bottle of water that I had to pay for. I was bothered in the morning by a cleaner knocking on my door shortly after 11, although I was staying for 2 nights. It was new years eve and after arriving back to the hotel and asking for a drink at the residents bar I was informed the bar closed at 3 and there was a £10 charge to get any drink brought to your room (plus the price of the drink, which was over-priced obviously). It was the same for food. The worst bit of all was the next morning at ten minutes to midday; I was packing the last of my things to checkout, when the phone rang to inform me that checkout was actually at 11 (first I'd heard) and that there would be a £10 charge for the extra hour we'd stayed. (great money making scam, considering standard checkout time is 12 in almost every hotel I've ever stayed in) Only after I argued with the receptionist did she waive it. I had been looking so forward to my stay but the basic service ruined it. ive had nicer stays in an ibis
