"Terrible value for the exorbitant price. We paid premium prices for this property! Customer service is non-existent, no aircon in the living room, none of the fans work, they don’t change sheets and towels daily, they don’t respond to complaints and are very defensive to feedback. There is not even coffee, tea or milk in the kitchen, not even sugar, salt and pepper! Worst ever stay for the kind of money we paid. We regret staying in this place. "This property epitomises luxury. It’s all in the detail. Flavoured water on the beach, ice buckets filled with drink whilst sunbathing, gourmet food and ice cream. The staff give you that boutique feel and the honey made on site is a lovely touch. We moved onto another property at a different part of the island and if it wasn’t fully booked we would head straight back to the lux*. It’s another level "

"Le Preskill island resort is nestled by a crystal-clear lagoon on the south east coast of Mauritius. What I liked most about the hotel is the stunning sea view, mountain, additional facilities, restaurant, and the overall atmosphere. The hotel's customer service is truly exceptional. The staff ( Alain, Mackline, Shenaz, Deepak, Ravi Sankonah, Ravi Teelwah, Chrisna, Anand, Pravin, Cindy ) were great, very welcoming and helpful. The food was terrific. The restaurant serves Mediterranean, local, Asian, and European cuisines. I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday and the amenities were top-notch, with friendly staff, so I would definitely stay here again in the future. "

"Our stay at LUX was exceptional. The amenities are clean, the staff is ultra nice. The beach in front of the hotel is probably the best we’ve visited. We were there for our honeymoon and for my husband’s birthday and we were spoiled with so many surprises, like champagne, cake, massages, cocktails mixing class and a number of other things. There is also so much to do, that if you wish, you don’t have to leave the hotel. There is a program with number of events every day - for children and for adults. We visited the spa, used the tennis court, went to the cinema night. Everything was perfect during our stay."

"Wonderful beachfront resort with excellent staff and amenities. We just returned from a 4 day stay and the only downside was that the trip was not longer. Large spacious rooms, lovely well kept grounds, super friendly and helpful staff, great selection of restaurants and food and daily activity programs. "We travelled from Australia and stayed at this beautiful hotel in Mauritius, let me tell you hands down this is one of the best hotels I have been to with breathtaking sea views, private beach, beautifully unique designed hotel and best five star in class service. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with a friendly smile. All the staff were very helpful and the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you to the reception staff and management for helping us plan our days accordingly to what we liked. Thank you to security at the front of the hotel for your exceptional service and friendly smiles each day. Thank you to the hotel staff for ensuring our room was clean and tidy to perfection each day. There is one highlight that we will never forget which is the dine in at the Tek Tek restaurant with our own private chef. The six course menu was inspired by the islands rich culture and let me tell you the food was on another level with the combination of flavours the dishes were perfection. Each dish was made with love from the Chef. Thank you Chef Shiva and Helper Karan for the most wonderful night and dine in experience you both made our experience staying at Mauritius incredible. We hope to see you both again soon. If you would like a luxurious stay I definitely recommend staying at this hotel. 🙂"
