Great little hideaway :) Really enjoyed our time here, the place was immaculate and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating - Highly recommended - only downfall I found were the mozzies outside, however every door / window has mozzie screens so not a problem inside.

My husband and I were delightfully surprised to stay at the beautiful boutique B&B at Rain Forest Gem. From the moment you walked down the brick path through the gardens to the delightful cottage stairs that opened onto a beautiful unique one of a kind cabin with walls from recycled timbers, antique fire place and the most comfy bed I have ever slept in with luxurious linens. The whole experience was so tranquil and super relaxing. We almost didn’t want to leave our room to explore the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterlands. And our hosts Cherine and Steve were so utterly charming – and certainly went above and beyond for what you would expect – from the nibbles on arrival to the fridge stocked for breakfast. We truly could not have asked for a better experience and we can’t wait to return.

    Hidden gem nestled in nature

Rainforest Gem is a true delight, tucked into a beautiful rainforest that affords absolute privacy. The owners have thought of everything, creating a superbly comfortable cottage that's beautifully decorated using recycled timber. We were greeted with cheese and nuts - perfect inspiration for a glass of wine on the balcony overlooking the lush forest. Compact, but not crowded, Rainforest Gem is completed with quality appliances, a divinely comfortable bed and an extremely efficient old-worlde combustion stove.

Pros: The thought and care that had gone into creating a cosy home away from home.

Cons: Nothing. We will definitely return.

Location: Set in Beerwah, Rainforest Gem is walking distance from a shopping village, in the heart of the Glasshouse Mountains, and close to Maleny.
