Amazing place and hosts

Sue & Bruce where great hosts. Room was spacious, breakfast was plentiful, surrounding areas where full of great places to eat. Would highly recommend for any one in the area.

Very comfortable B&B

I just had a night prior to a duathlon at the Bedford Autodrome. It was a good B&B. Did not sample the breakfast unfortunately because of the aforementioned event I was taking part in.

Comfortable stay, delicious breakfast

Received a lovely welcome, owners extremely friendly. Room comfortable, breakfast delicious. Furthermore one of the few places in England where the tea is served just as I like it, hot and strong.

A home from home

Lovely people who gave me tea and cake when I arrived and then coped when I had to leave in the middle of the night to deal with a family emergency. They posted me the things that I left behind and I will definitely stay there again, when I go back to finish the course that I couldn't finish.

I couldn't stay because the woman wouldn't let me park my van in the drive and had no other alternatives and because I was working late couldn't stay be cause she wanted the doors closed for half 10 pm

Had everything i needed so rated it excellent - 2 minor criticisms: bacon not crispy and curtain are white so dont keep the sun out so pretty useless!

Quiet location

Very quiet location run by friendly couple.Good car parking at property and nice bistro style pub a short walk away.Excellent breakfast the next day. Would definitely recommend and would stay again

Peaceful & Exciting ~ Enjoy the serenity & bliss

Our stay was absolutely rejuvenating and thanks to the warm and wonderful hosts of the Tree Garth. I like the ambience and gives me sense of nostalgia. Very different to the rest of the commercial B&Bs as has strong touch of a home and experiences & memoirs that perhaps one could include in his next novel....Tree Garth!

Unexpectedly nice

Lovely Landlady, friendly and knowledgeable. Short drive to Bedford city centre. Breakfast choice was wonderful. it included scrambled eggs- beautiful, homemade marmalade and a little light conversation. Comfortable bed resulted in a good night's sleep. Only one negative for me was no en suite, but in the end it made little difference.

I stayed with Sue & Bruce and they made me feel very welcome, Sue cooked a lovely breakfast and even ironed my shirt for me! Thank you very much to the both of you, hope to see you again

Excellent bed and breakfast accommodation

Excellent bed and breakfast accommodation. Friendly and helpful owners. Really good breakfast. Quiet location. (Yes, it was a bit hard to find, but previous 2-star review was very unfair just because it was difficult to find). If you are looking for a non-standard, individual, quiet, good-quality bed and breakfast, look no further.

Impossible to find at night as there are no signs

I spent nearly two hours looking for the place as there are no street numbers or obvious signage so google can not take you there, the wireless Internet only works sitting on the stairs. The place was miles from civilization
