When I finally found my room. There was something in the air in my room . I could feel particles when I was breathing. I immediately went to the front desk for a refund. I stayed somewhere else. I need information to contact you for a refund.

Rooms and the room i reserved, was not available, the hotel did everything to make me happy, for them i appreciate it. Expedia selling rooms that they didn't have. Call ahead before booking.

The room was small and not what I paid for. Paid for a king bed. When I got there they had no kings available so they said they would give me a queen. What I got was a double. I should get a refund.

When we got there the police were showing up. Dirty room. Room was awful. Asked for extra blankets and pillows and didn’t receive or a cot. We felt very unsafe and barely slept.

This place is a dump. The drapes are falling off the rods, there is only 2 washcloths for a room that is supposed to accommodate 6, the carpet is fraying and the chain lock on the door is broken. I have taken photos. The ONLY reason we stayed is that we had been on the road for over 24 hours and needed to rest.

Our stay was very positive. Room was clean, shower pressure was amazing. Great location right off interstate. McDonalds, DQ and gas were walking distance away. Great hot breakfast incl. Quiet location. Nice accommodating staff. Excellent price. Cons: No fridge or Microwave in room as advertised!

Thank you for your response.. I do apologize for the microwave and fridge. Those were supposed to be removed from all of the booking sites. I will make sure that gets taken care of

I was originally booked in a room for 4 when I had asked for a suite for 6 people. Late arrival for our family so we didn’t have the choice to move rooms but the « suite #48…- the door looked like someone kicked it in. The door didn’t lock properly and I could see outside from inside my room. I could stick my finger outside from the inside of the room door. The lady behind the desk said to her colleagues « it must be the room where someone kicked it in for a free stay ». 🙄 There were bugs the size of my thumb nail. Box of bed had a huge metal rail that stuck out which my family member hurt their shin walking to the bathroom. There were awful stains on the chairs and bedcovers, cigarette burns on the blanket. One of the towels looks like someone wiped themselves with it after using the washroom. Never again.

Walking into my 1st floor room (by the emergency exit) the first thing I noticed was the floor needed to be swept, and there was a diabetic test strip on the floor. There was no blanket provided, only the thin sheet. I was traveling with my dog; I went to take him out via the emergency exit and it was not closed/secure. I checked to see if I needed to have a key card to re-enter the building; not only did I not need a key card but the door didn’t even close. AT ALL. Slept in my clothes with the door blocked. Next day I noticed the hotel appears to have multiple “permanent” guests. The dumpster was full of discarded furniture. If I could rate this hotel in negative numbers I would. Not safe. Not clean. Never. Again.

^The room was very dirty and the carpet smelled so bad my sinuses plugged up. Parking lot outside of room was noisy until after 1 a.m. Should void this part of town.

This hotel is not a clean place to stay. Smokey and run down. When I walked into my room it wasn’t even 5mins before I saw roaches running through my room. I immediately went to go check out. The lady at the door said she can give me my money back tomorrow and I have not yet heard from her or the hotel.

Breakfast has been scaled back to coffee, juice, waffles and one cereal. There was no fruit, toast, cream cheese,pastries, yogurt. The equipment was there, but not the food.

We would never stay here again. The room is shabby and they allow dogs but there is no where for the dog the dog to go. There is no way this is Wyndham standards. The ice machine was broken the entrance into the seating area was construction probably from 2 years ago and they have a sign up saying continental breakfast which consisted of coffee not even one tea bag.

Unfortunately this property has really gone downhill since my last visit a year ago. The room I was in had old carpet, a broken heater/air-conditioner control, an old and uncomfortable matress, walls and doors needed patching and painting in places, and not very clean overall. There was almost nothing for breakfast and the old door locks would not work on either of the cards I was given at check in. The back door of the wing I was in had been broken and was being left partly open. (not very safe considering that the reason given for the poor breakfasts was because homeless people were coming in off the street and eating the food. Over all, it was not a pleasant place and what made it the worst was that there were bugs on the floor, table top and sink countertop. Hopefully there were no bed bugs. I have to caution anyone planning to stay in Beckley, WV to refrain from staying at this property.

I checked in just before 9pm after driving 4 hours and then working all day. Receptionist was sitting outside when I arrived and I was not greeted, simply was asked what was wrong. I let her know I was there to check in. Checked in got to room, put belongings in room, went to grab something to eat. Come back to take a shower and lay down. I had no hot water, no toilet paper and sheets were dirty. Called front desk was informed she would send maintenance over. 45 minutes pass and nobody shows up, call the front desk again and she was like I'll just move you rooms. Changed rooms, finally had hot water. Took a shower, laid down finally around 1 am, come about 3am the bed just collapsed. Luckily it was a room with another bed. Not to mention these beds were like sleeping on concrete. Check out is at 11am, come 8am I have house keeping banging on my door, had all of intentions of sleeping in. That also didn't happen. Just overall a terrible experience with staff and property in general.

There was bed bugs all over the bed in my room, do not go here unless your ok with sleeping with bed bugs! The price is cheap for a reason your better off going somewhere else and spending the extra 10-15 dollars. In addition to that there was water leaking in the walls and the toilet seat had urine on it that was never cleaned off from the last person that stayed here.

We booked a non-smoking queen double and when we arrived, they didn't have the room. They were overbooked. They put us in a room that they were not normally renting which wasn't cleaned and didn't have any hot water. Smelled musty and like cigarette smoke. They tried to adjust the bill but since we booked through Expedia, they were not sure how to do it. We had reservations and they rented out our room to someone else before we got there at 10:00pm. Not Happy about this.

I was a little disappointed that the king bed reserved was not available, but after 10 hours of driving, anything was better. When attempting to take a shower in the morning, despite the attempts to turn, push and pull the shower faucet, i could not turn the water on. The desk asked when checking out if we called anyone We didnt, because we wanted to get on the road. Travelodge will be my last resort for overnight stays.

There was food left in the fridge from last people there. There were massive hairs and dirt in the bathroom floor. There were crumbs and stains in the bed. There was a dirty bandaid on the remote. The beds were extremely uncomfortable.But first off, when I went to check in the girl at the front said they switched me to a single bed instead of 2 double beds, which I had already paid for. She said she could give me 2 double beds but the shower wouldn’t work. I refused and she somehow made it work. If there was any other place available I would not have stayed here and will never, ever again.
