We stay at the Laurel cabin. Everything exceeded all our expectations since we arrived, the house was very cozy and clean. We were there to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday and he was beyond happy with the surprise. A big plus, there’s a market (Piggly Wiggly) conveniently located 0.50 miles away. We can’t wait to come back and have a longer stay. We were there only for 2 nights since everything was sold out. We had a very lovely stay and will recommend this place to everyone! ❤️

Amazing, amazing, amazing!!!!!!! Well worth the price, the cabins are extremely well maintained and everything provided, utensils, cook ware, plates etc. are in perfect working order. They even provide coffee cream and sugar! The grill was clean no grease or food from the last renters. Do not pass County Road Cabins up, we will definitely be coming back. Huge Shout Out to Jessica and Ann for taking care of out late arrival request. These folks are friendly and accommodating to no end.

We loved our cabin. We had 2 bedrooms each with their own bathroom so each couple had their own space. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub watching it snow. We would definitely stay here again.

EXCELLENT!

We stayed in the two bedroom cabin, called the Appalachian. It was perfect for my husband, me, and my parents. We brought my mother's service dog and she also loved the area. It is so very quiet and peaceful. I know it is a bit pricey, but you are paying for a full home, yard, and excellent privacy. Our stay was beyond enjoyable and we would love to come back for a longer stay. There are National and State Parks in the area. Although this area was peaceful and quiet, it was not too far from major highways and shopping areas. If you are on the fence, go for it! You won't regret it. Also, if you have a dog (service or pet) call up the hotel before you book, as they do have dog friendly cabins.

the yurt

the yurt in and of itself is built nice and the privacy is great,,wildlife is awesome,The beds and bedding seriously need updating,,pillows are lifeless, when i pulled back the covers to get into bed,there was black hair on the sheets,and also noticed sheets was put on the bed inside out,we lost power one eveing because of rain,and only had a flashlight,as the kerosene lamp provided for such occasions didnt have kerosene,that got restored sometime that nite,we did have some issues with dvd player,however the maintenance man was prompt and nice to come out and fix that. there were wine glassed ready for us,but no complimentry wine,we arent sure if we were only imagining that it was supposed to be included in price?? all said and done,we still had a good time,and if we would refer this place we would make sure the people we wud be referring to would know abt the bedding,,to us ,the sleep is so much a good part of vacation,that its a high priority to have comfortable beds pillows and fresh sheets..
