Wonderful Location

Starry Night was the perfect place to stay if you want to be secluded yet close to town. It was also within walking distance to North Shore Park where you could take a stroll down to the water. This property was quaint and clean...I would absolutely stay again!

A perfect retreat

Starry Night is a fantastic, wonderfully decorated garage apartment with a great kitchen and living spaces. The porch is terrific and it is only a short bike to town or the beach. We loved our stay here - can't wait to return!

Beautiful quiet getaway

The Starry Night is a bright, tidy unit above the garage, less than a 10-minute bike ride from the ferry and the main drag. Becca and Brian are excellent hosts. It's quiet, spacious, and a great home base for exploring the island. Would be glad to make a return visit!

Becca and Bryan’s property could not be more perfect. It was clean, cozy, comfortable and felt very private. We appreciated all of the maps with island highlights called out for guests to reference. Beautiful secluded property.

This property had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. It's secluded, quiet, and in the woods but close to town. Lots of beaver island historical facts throughout the cabin. We used the map they had marked with trails and beaches and spent a whole day exploring. It was a perfect weekend getaway.

Peaceful and beautiful location. Lovely and easy bike ride to town. We attended the Beaver Island Music Festival which was an amazing experience. Our hosts Becca and Brian are very involved in the community and are the best resources for anything and everything!

Beautiful and relaxing getaway!

Bryan and Becca were great hosts! They made the check in and out process as easy as it could possibly be, and they were always easy to reach over the phone. The guest house had everything we needed - all we had to bring was our standard luggage and a few groceries. The house was very very clean and thoughtfully decorated. They also included a basket of maps, pamphlets, and more for us to really make the most of our trip. Overall, we simply couldn't have asked for a better stay. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!

Perfect cozy guest house

Starry Night was the perfect hideaway cozy space. Close enough to town to be convenient but totally secluded for lovely long walks along the quiet roads, trails and beach. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials (coffee, sugar, oils, etc.) Communication with my hosts was easy, I never felt in the way despite being over their garage. Amazing little apartment and even better hosts.

I surprised my wife with a birthday trip to Beaver Island. I was able to secretly setup a charter flight and a car rental from Duffy. Once we got onto the island, we checked into our cozy little apartment. The unit was extremely clean with all the amenities you would need for your stay. The host, Becca, was very kind and gave us a quick run down of the island. I will definitely book this apartment our next trip up to the island. Thank you Becca!

In search of peace and quiet!

Becca (and her mother) were both welcoming and accommodating of our visit. Their communication and ongoing hospitality was exceptional. The availability of bicycles at the property was a game changer. We explored most of the north end of the island and St James on bike over a couple of days. The day hikes and beach visits were beautiful and easy to find. The quiet and serenity of The Beav is second to none with friendly locals at every turn to make your stay even more enjoyable…
