"Very pleasant two day stay in the Saint-Malo region away from the crowded coast for a couple and a golden retriever. Staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful.
It is set in the grounds of an abbey with extensive, well-maintained grounds overlooking a lake. It's a great place to relax before and after visiting Saint-Malo.
The premises have been carefully removated while retaining as much of the heritage as possible.
We opted on one evening for the no choice six course menu which was developed...

"I liked the amazing food in the brasserie, the big bed room, luxury bed linen, the large shower, impressive grounds, helpful friendly English speaking staff and the swimming pool. location is very convenient for the ferry crossing.
I do think the pool should be open before breakfast. It is healthy to swim before if you can. I recommend 8am.
Didn't like the noise of the traffic much because of the busy road near by and would request quieter room next time. Plus we were disappointed there was no...
