About this property

Beautiful, Quiet, Country Setting on Willamette River

We are located in Peoria, Oregon on the Willamette River. Our spacious (600sq ft) quarters with it's own entrance is privately located on the North end of our 100 year old granary residence. We offer beautiful grounds to stroll, the river to enjoy, and the peacefulness of country living.

Here at the Old River Granary there are plenty of opportunities to play, rest, and relax. Take a walk down the river, shoot a game of pool, or just relax in the hammock by the river.

Step out on the private balcony and see both sunrise over the Cascade mountains and sunset over the coast range. Views vary with the seasons.

Corvallis, home of Oregon State University, is located just 10 minutes away and offers a friendly home town atmosphere with a variety of stores, river front restaurants and a wonderful farmers market (Apr-Nov) with fresh local produce, fruits, flowers, honey, jams and more.

The Old Granary is truly a little piece of paradise, away from the stress of everyday life. We think your stay at the River Guest Quarters will be an experience to remember...and we welcome you!

Lovely Riv Spot!

Me and my 2 friends had a lovely time staying here :) We spent almost the entire day on that couch overlooking the riv. So peaceful and relaxing, I loved it here. It felt much more like a real home than any other vacation rental I've ever stayed in! Loved all the comfy sitting areas, the bed was super cozy, the kitchen was well stocked and easy to use, everything was clean and comfortable and great :) Thanks so much guys! We had a great time!

Wonderful hosts in a lovely setting.

Paradise at the Riverhaus!

Our best VRBO experience, by far! The Riverhaus is the perfect place to stay while enjoying all of what the Willamette valley has to offer. A piece of paradise.

We stayed here over a long weekend and loved it! The grounds are just gorgeous with all of the blooming plants and, of course, the river just adds to the beauty. We sat by it every evening. Kathy and Gregg were so kind and accommodating with our toddler daughter, even offering us apple pie (it was delicious). The bed is very comfortable and the rooms stayed cool even in 100+ heat. We'd definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

Quiet location

My daughter and I were in Oregon for events in Eugene, and booked the Riverhaus. Very quiet location between Corvallis and Eugene that worked well for what we needed. The unit is in a beautiful location overlooking the river with beautiful gardens/yard. We enjoyed listening to the birds while sitting on the deck.

Relaxing home base near Corvallis

My sons and I stayed here for a hiking & exploring trip around Corvallis and the coastline. Kathy and Gregg have an amazing property and could not be more pleasant and accommodating. Such a peaceful piece of paradise. Well stocked, with lots of windows. This is a very cozy, relaxing unit; a perfect place to unwind. Easy drive to Corvallis and Newport. We were blessed with beautiful fall weather so it was nice to take advantage of all the Willamette Valley has to offer. There is an easy river walk in downtown Corvallis near OSU, great restaurants, plus many wineries.

Stunning View

The Riverhaus is a lovely retreat which exceeded our expectations. Kathy and Gregg were delightful hosts. Kathy had everything we needed for our month long stay during a home remodeling project. We enjoyed peaceful walks on "Main Street" Peoria and a stunning view of the Willamette River. The bank of windows in our suite gave not only a great view of the Willamette River, but also a stellar view of magnificent sunsets over the Oregon Coast Range. We definitely plan to return!
