"C'était notre 3e séjour chez Thierry (sûrement pas le dernier) dans une maison confortable, pratique et propre. Châtelaillon possède une superbe plage mais est aussi un emplacement idéal pour sillonner la région : Au nord: La Rochelle, île de Ré... Au sud: Île d'Oléron, Fouras (départ vers l'île d'Aix, contour de Fort Boyard)...Nous avons vraiment apprécié le jardin avec barbecue, la piscine partagée de la résidence, les vélos pour rejoindre la plage.Très bonne communication avec Thierry.La maison possède une très bonne literie, 3 chambres avec lits doubles (2 lits simples dans une des chambres serait une bonne alternative mais ceci n'est pas rédhibitoire).Un grand merci, nous reviendrons !"

"We stayed here on our way through the west coast of France and it was the perfect place to stay in during our visit to La Rochelle. The hotel amenities were basic but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We would recommend this as a stop over place."

"Lovely room with balcony and view of the beach. We were a little disappointed as room was not cleaned for the first few days and we had to request clean towels and toilet rolls to be brought to room. Management were very good and apologised. Location was perfect.On the whole a wonderful place to stay."

"Eine echte Empfehlung, dieses kleine Haus. Die Lage ist sehr zentral im Ort direkt hinter der Kirche und doch ruhig. Parkmöglichkeiten in direkter Nähe ohne extra Kosten, der Strand ist zu Fuß in ca 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Markthalle, Bäcker, Supermarkt, alles kaum 3 Minuten entfernt. Der Ort bietet viel und ist ideal für Familien, vor allem der Strand. Das Häuschen war total sauber und ist ausgesprochen gut ausgestattet. Geschirr, Küchenausstattung, alles top. Emilie und Familie haben es mit viel Geschmack, Herz und Verstand eingerichtet. Ein Hauch von Scan- Design an der französischen Atlantikküste. Dabei ist es innen sogar etwas größer, als es auf den Bildern wirkt. Ein einziger großer Wohnraum mit Küche, ein Schlafzimmer, ein recht kleines Kinderzimmer. Ideal für Familien mit etwas jüngeren Kindern, aber auch unsere großen Teenager haben sich super wohlgefühlt und passten gerade noch so in die Etagenbetten. Wir haben ausgesprochen heiße Tage erwischt, da wurde es natürlich auch innen irgendwann sehr warm. Voll klimatisiert ist so ein älteres Haus natürlich nicht. Aber man kann abends gut querlüften. Ein großes Dankeschön an unsere Gastgeber. Gesehen haben wir uns zwar nicht, aber die Kommunikation war top und sehr herzlich."

"Perfectly good classic old style hotel in a beautiful French seaside town. Excellent shower. Good breakfast with orange juice, fresh croissants, ham and cheese and fresh fruit. Loved the DIY, boiled egg machine! Only disappointment, cheap plastic cups in bedroom."
