Room was in decent condition. When we got there the room was locked from the inside which gave us pause. This room was “outside” and the room had a lot spiders and different bugs. The room smelled funny but overall it was a good room and did its job.

It was okay, the sweet was a little chincy. Just a couch in an adjacent room, no tv or furniture at all. No dishes in the kitchen that type of stuff but the shower was nice and the other room was a decent typical hotel room. Good for the price just not great. Breakfast was okay too.

I loved the suite I had. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The lobby was inviting. I loved the coffee machine in the lobby. The breakfast was amazing with so many options. I did not use the bar but looked like one I would have if I had more time. The pool area was great and my family spent the day there. I will stay there again

Clean and friendly, but no hot water

The hotel and room were clean and the staff was very friendly. But the WiFi was near impossible to connect to and I wasn’t given directions on how to connect. The hot water took a very long time in the shower and was only warm.

This place has deceiving ratings and pictures. Not one picture matches this hotel. The rooms are full of mold and the odor will make you sick. I will never stay at another Holiday Inn again after this experience. The staff was very pleasant however the mold in the room was a huge health factor and the health department should really close them down.

My absolute worst experience I have ever had with Holiday Inn. I don’t know how this place has an 9.0 excellent in reviews. First of all the rooms outside have an extremely bad odor of humidity in the rooms. Second, there was really bad mold in our room. You could see all the mold around the room but specially in the back boards of the beds. I complained about it to the front desk person and he just confirmed it that the outdoor rooms do have them and thank you for bringing it up yo him. Like really, you already knew about but yet you guys don’t take care of it. We were out in Port Arthur for my boys soccer tournament and most of the team reserved to stay at this place going based on the reviews. I can tell you everyone had something to complain about this hotel. Staff I can say were very helpful and did their best in trying to help.

Our first day wasn’t that great. We arrived our room was “supposedly” clean and ready. Going into the bathroom, you immediately saw it wasn’t cleaned throughly. I went to the front desk and talked to them about stuff that was all over the bathroom counter, the shower wasn’t cleaned, and there was tags, and the plastic that apparently the guest before us had pulled off their clothing and it was on the floor along with other signs of not being swept or mopped. We had 4 people in our room, and only had 2 sets of towels. I was given cleaner and rags to clean the bathroom (yes, I cleaned it) then went back for towels. The next morning I went back to the desk and told them I wanted our room cleaned. After all of that, the rest of the trip was great. The breakfast was great, the staff in the breakfast area were WONDERFUL!!! They were very attentive, polite and helpful. The breakfast was just right to start our day off. They offer a free dinner Monday-Thursday, but we missed it. But I think that’s another added bonus! The pool was nice. This is a very high plant , and refinery, offshore area, so there’s a lot of workers staying there, but we had no problems at all. It was quiet, and ample parking. The hotel also has a bar, and a commissary area. All and all, it’s a good place to stay. Close to everything.
