"This house is amazing for family reunions and our family loves staying here. The kids love the slide and it sleeps so many people! We love the private beach access and the swimming pool in the neighborhood! Great stay for our families."

"This place was perfect for our family reunion! We were thrilled with the spacious eating area, living room, deck, and back patio. The kitchen had enough cooking facilities and refrigerators to feed our huge group. The area in front of the house had parking for tons of cars, which was very needed. We enjoyed the pool, the pickleball court, kids play area, and big fire pit. A couple things to note: There are no supplies for the showers like soap or shampoo. That was a surprise for us. Also, the big living area has a lot of echo. It was extremely loud for our whole group, so it was nice to take some conversations outside. I wish they had some sound paneling. Lastly, there is just one bathroom for each of the huge bedrooms. I thought there would be multiple toilet/shower areas, but it's just one per room. We made it work, but it can get crowded. Overall, I would recommend."

"This was a perfect property for our family gathering. There were so many beds and the kids loved the extras (NASA bunk, look out, bean bag chairs, game tables, etc). The house was well stocked and the host was very responsive and accommodating. The club house and pool were grate and the private beach was very nice. Check out at 10 was hard with a large group but I get it with needing to turn over and clean for the next group. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay at this property again!"

"We have a very large family, with lots of children. This property was great for us. The individual cabins meant that each family was able to have private space to manage nap schedules and take breaks. The green space was the site of many games of capture the flag or tag. The central "lodge" provided good gathering space for the full group. Since we do most of our own cooking, we appreciated the large double refrigerators. The kitchen was well-equipped. The property is not perfect--there are small things that could be fixed. However, when we did have issues, the property management team was prompt in their response. In fact, communication was a highlight, and the team did appear focused on making sure that our stay was comfortable. Unlike some properties, there was an adequate supply of basics like toilet paper and paper towels (not a "starter pack"--enough to get us through the week-long stay). The property served as a good "home base for lots of lake time and exploring in the surrounding mountain canyons. The location of the property allowed for lots of walks through quiet neighborhoods. So, if you have a large group--we would strongly recommend a stay!"

"Our large family really enjoyed our stay at The Moose. The Willeses were an A-1 host couple, always available and ready to answer our many questions.We liked the variety of features at both the Moose and its gated community--especially those geared to young children. The glimpse of the lake was serene (even if a bit obscured by the smoky air). We enjoyed the seclusion of our lodge and the sight of American kestrels feeding their young. The accommodations were comfortable and generally spacious, though it could get a bit congested around the dining/gathering area for a large crowd like ours. The number of bathrooms didn't always seem to tally with the upper bedroom use, but everyone survived.All in all, we feel privileged to have had The Moose as our reunion place, and would recommend it to all."
