"Didn’t like it"

"We enjoyed our one-night stay at The Watermark hotel. The suite was spacious, clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was a little too soft for us but others may appreciate that. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety and had a good quality to it. The location was also great and walkable. We would definitely stay here again. We did not make it to the fitness center or bar."

"Room not bad. Small, not updated bathroom. Breakfast was good. Only bad part was a guest took their dog (not a service animal) to breakfast and it kept coming and licking on my kids and jumping up on them while they were attempting to eat. Even left drool on my child. So I don't like that the staff allowed that and did nothing about it. We did have to leave to wash up my kids who didn't get to finish their food. Pool was great. Kids did love that. You may smell more than just cigarettes too. Overall decent for a one night."

"The hotel was very clean and the lobby area was very well maintained. I did not think some parts of the room were as well cared for, the decorative wallpaper was peeling off the wall in our room. The beds were very comfortable, but the AC seems to have a motion sensor so it will continue to cut off while you're sleeping; beware the summer months. The front desk was not always manned, but the valet staff was the absolute best I have ever experienced."

"The room had huge bugs running on the floor. And one ran under the bed. I ran out of room and said to cancel me and give me a refund. The staff worker said to me oh I guess the beetle bugs had returned. The property was horrible. The building had pieces of bricks missing from the outside walls. The people walking around looked like homeless people. And now according to them they can’t refund. Expedia has to and I am still waiting for a response."

"This is a very updated hotel in the Virginia vicinity of DC. The room was modern and very clean. It had modern facilities. However parking relies on a third party app. After a long drive there, I could not get the app to work. It would not take my departure date and time. This caused much frustration and aggravation. They must make it easier to pay for parking or not charge hotel guests! ☹️"

"The evening staff were very helpful and pleasant. The night time staff were indifferent to our needs. There was confusion about when the restaurant was closed. The restaurant staff were very nice about it. We missed the closure by 30 min. WE then went to the sundries shop get something to drink. The front staff were very indignant about it. We just wanted water for the room. it was 11:30 in the evening and didn't think that was too much to ask for. The room was clean and the hotel as a whole was very quiet. The beds were comfortable. Check out was very easy. In the morning coffee was free, but had to pay for tea, didn't make much sense, but whatever. I would stay there again, now with a better understanding."
