"We had a wonderful stay in the shepherd hut and would highly recommend it. The location was perfect, with beautiful views and a fantastic private outdoor space that was clearly very well thought out. The hut itself is beautiful and has absolutely everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The bed was really comfortable, the Wi-Fi was brilliant, and the log burner made the space feel incredibly cosy. The large shower was also a real bonus, particularly given that the hut is a smaller space. We especially loved the history behind the hut and hearing about where the materials used to build it originated from. It gives the place a really special character and makes the stay feel that little bit more unique. Communication throughout was excellent, from pre-booking right through to check-in and check-out. Everything was perfectly timed and really clear. The online guide was also a great touch, with loads of useful information to help make the most of the stay. The only small call-out would be that the Wi-Fi details in the online guide appeared to be out of date. After a few unsuccessful attempts, we found the updated details on a card inside the hut. Obviously, information can change, but it may be worth checking that the online guide is updated too, as this is likely to be the first place some guests will look. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay. A beautiful, cosy and well-equipped hut in a fantastic location. We would definitely recommend it and would happily stay again!"

"Lovely place to stay with amazing spacious rooms. The cabins are amazing and the view of the pond and the bath Spa was amazing. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant staff were amazing."

"A conveniently located hotel with car parking at the rear of the building. Receptionist was pleasant but spent long periods on the phone whilst the check in queue grew. Room was clean and the double bed was comfortable although the quilt was extremely thin. The hand basin was small and had limescale deposits and the taps were very old. Breakfast was good and the quality of food items was evident. The dining room had a striking and impressive decor. Oerall the hotel was extremely good value for money"
