"Very cute and cozy home with one and a half baths. The neighborhood is more rustic with dirt roads and naturally divided properties. Short drive to downtown Lexington, and the beach is also a short distance."

"Interior was spotless clean. Needs attention to minor sticking doors (bathroom and front door). Teaser ad says on the lake but actually 3 houses away from steps down to the beach. We suggest doing a Google map aerial of the property proximity to the beach. Overall a nice cottage."

"Overall the space was very nice. Felt newly remodeled and modern on the inside. Some doors were quite sticky and hard to open and close.Space was large and could accommodate many guests. Kitchen was well laid out and good for hosting. Many areas to sit and relax. Bathrooms were spacious. Large outdoor space for kids in the backyard. Pool and hot tub were both in good shape and seemed well maintained.The big issue with the property is the back deck. Wood crumbling in areas, screws sticking up after walking over area. Wood planks on ground just screwed into the dirt. Did not feel comfortable walking around barefoot or with little kids. It really needs replacing to feel safe.Overall the space is large and works well but the back porch really needs replacing and some small tweaks on the inside."

"This was the third time we stayed on Sheridan Line Rd. We live that you feel like you are in the middle of farm land but in 5 minutes you are in Lexington. The kitchen is well stocked and having a washer and dryer is wonderful. We enjoy seeing the deer and wild turkeys. You will not regret renting this property. We will be back."
Lakefront Lexington Escape: Steps to Beach!

"It was a pretty perfect lakehouse vacation. 🩷. The house is plenty big for kids and lots of beds. You really can’t beat the view. The beach is awesome. The public access is literally steps from the house and was never crowded-even on the weekend. The only thing I would be aware of is that there’s not a lot of staples at the house - so you do need to bring aluminum foil and Saran Wrap and things like that. But other than that.. it was awesome. We looooved having the propane fireplace on the deck too!! It seems like year after year.. we’ve had to drive around looking for firewood and try to start a fire. So that was super convenient and nice. 🩷🩷. I emailed the owners once for access to the laundry and her response was immediate. Would definitely recommend and stay again!"
