"We had a wonderful week at this lake house with our extended family. The property offered plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax, and the view of the lake from the patio was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, making it easy to prepare meals for a large group. We also enjoyed fishing from the pier, and having the boat available right at the property added a lot of fun to our stay.A few things could have been improved. We rented the boat for the entire week and were surprised that it started with only a half tank of gas. While there were gas cans available for us to refill it, we felt it would have been more appropriate for the rental to begin with a full tank. We were unable to blow up the large inflatables because the connector for the air pump was missing.One thing future guests should be aware of is that the stairs leading down to the water are fairly steep and have stones in places. Children will definitely want to wear shoes, and anyone with mobility concerns should keep this in mind.Overall, our family had a great time, made wonderful memories, and really enjoyed our stay. The beautiful setting, spacious accommodations, and lake activities made for a fun and relaxing vacation."

"The property was beautiful and just as pictured. Everything was spotless, cutely decorated and well-equipped. My little family enjoyed all of the outdoor amenities including paddle boarding, taking the pedal boat out around the lake, and kayaking. The water is shallow out past the pier so it was perfectly safe for my 9 and 12 yr old to swim and explore. The deck overlooking the lake was a great place to supervise from and enjoy the view. We had campfires daily and also enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. Inside, everything was thoughtfully done and made good use of the space. The host went above and beyond to create a great stay with the coffee bar and other campfire treats. We enjoyed the Red Fox Inn for dinner and cheap (but delicious) Old Fashioneds. The host was very responsive and fair when we accidentally lost a fishing pole in the lake and reported the mishap. We had a great stay and would highly recommend for a peaceful lake visit! The small no-motor lake makes everything very worry-free and relaxing."

"Grandma, grownkids, and grandkids all loved our week of "lake life". Each morning, we sipped our coffee in the peaceful lake view/sounds. We grilled and ate meals out on the deck every day and sat around the fire every night. We played bags, went for walks, and fished off the pier. Everyone caught something - perch, bass, catfish, and the 2 and 5 year olds caught lots of pan fish). The young kids loved swimming (until a huge snapper swam up to shore to get a fish), and they played in the sandbox, rode the bikes, and played with the games, toys, and books provided. We took the boat out once (oars were broken but a kayak paddle worked fine), and there were kayaks, and paddle boat, and a paddle board available along with life jackets of every size. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and pans to make any meal, coffee & maker, keurig & Kcups, spices, mixers, etc etc. We liked having the upper and lower living spaces, 2 full size refrigerators, a dishwasher w/soap, a full size W/D with soap and dryer sheets, and plenty of towels and bathroom supplies. The only thing I'd warn people about is the stairs. The ariel picture in the listing shows how long they are, and the bottom half is very steep with narrow, older steps. This kept me (grandma) from going down as often as I would have, and the young adults slipped twice (one really hard fall), and the children needed an adult to help them every time they went up or down. However, we still made it work and were up and down to fish or swim every day. Overall, it was a great cabin getaway for all ages, moods, and interests."
