"Very new nice and cozy 2nd floor unit. i felt safe. Its about a 20 minute walk to the ferry and shore front park and less than 5 minute walk from the train station. Driveway parking is around the corner and no direct access to the back yard from the unit if you’re looking for a space to be outside."

"This was an interesting property that was private, close to the beach (not a large beach, but big enough for walking and beach combing), and roomy. The only negative for me was a musty smell of mildew, which didn’t seem to bother anyone else in my party, so maybe it was just me."

"This is a very special property. The house is amazing and the property beyond amazing. The serene views from the decks and wonderful hot tub provide a calm, zen like atmosphere. The home has luxury finishes, large screen TVs throughout, a huge primary bedroom and multiple spacious living areas that are super comfortable. The primary bath is like a personal spa w a striking shower/steam shower. The home is extremely well equipped and our host was very gracious. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are looking forward to returning."

"We really enjoyed out stay here! Everything was as pictured and described. Well stocked kitchen and quality throughout the home. Close to the Fire Island Ferry and downtown as well. I really liked the fact that it was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Great place! Will book again next summer!"

"This beautiful home was clean and comfortable. It appeared to be in a very safe neighborhood and right on the ocean. Waking up to that view was definitely a highlight of our stay! We also saw a gorgeous sunset and a lightning storm over Fire Island!!! The back of the house has walls of windows!I loved the kitchen and all the really nice glasses and dinnerware available for us to use. I also appreciated the Keurig coffee maker! We would have liked to have a few games, puzzles and books available. We took a ride to Target to purchase a few games, but we could have brought them, had we known. The yard is nice, with the boardwalk along the waters' edge, but would be nice to have a fire pit available.The deck was huge, but very rotted and wobbly. We didn't use it much for fear of falling through on a soft spot. This definitely needs to be remedied. That is the only reason for the 4-star vs. 5-star review. It would have been nice to have a few more seating options outside and a table with umbrella for eating outside on the deck.The host was very kind and responsive. She gave us lots of tips on things to do in the area. Would consider staying here again in the future, if the deck was replaced."
