"Staff were helpful. Pool was cold. Group of visitors ruined it for us a little, as they occupied every space in the hotel. They put phones on the chairs to keep them occupied. They invaded the breakfast room. You could not walk freely out the main main door as those people pulled up at the entrance and put the bags in and they were at least 10 cars. They were also noisy during night with their kiss yelling and running around. I think staff should have reminded them that they were not the only ones in the hotel"

"It's a place to flop in a quiet, economically struggling but beautiful area. Adjacent to the hospital, walkable to local shops, restaurant / bar on premises, easy access to Delaware River. Basic amenities - everything reminds of great-grandma's home including the tepid shower, the wash basin in your bedroom, and the low bed with a springy mattress. Don't be picky - support the local economy."

"Clean, newly renovated but bathroom needed some attention (ceiling damage in bathroom from some apparent plumbing issue in the room upstairs & the shower curtain rod was an eye sore—poorly installed/fixed). There was plenty of parking, but no parking tags were issued though so anyone could park there I guess (not just guests). And that I see as a security issue. And during our brief 1 night stay, other guests (in rooms right next to us) were “partying” till wee hours of the morning & I needed to tell them about it. We almost went home at 2am instead of staying the rest of the night. (I should’ve called the front desk I suppose, but after I told the guests about it, it was better & I was eventually able to fall asleep!!). I gave a 4 rating however because it was so clean, up to date & the lady at the front desk was great & very friendly! Would go back again & give it another “chance”."

"If you are allergic to a cat, there is a lot of cats… I booked through Expedia. Upon arrival, the front desk couldn’t find my reservation and insisted on creating a new one with my card. After much insistence, they located it but had no room ready, forcing me to wait. Placed in a room with a strong urine smell (likely dog) in the bathroom. No room number signs in the hallway, and the same odor was in the main first-floor bathroom. No Wi-Fi password provided. Breakfast was okay. Photos on Expedia were misleading. Not sure if I’d return."

"Such a lovely setting on the Delaware River. Beautiful woodsy setting with neighboring homes but enough distance to feel very private. The deck overlooking the Delaware was very relaxing. We saw an eagle and other birds while spending time there. The house was very clean and well appointed with kitchen and bathroom needs. The bedrooms are upstairs, bath on the main floor and one bath in the basement. Although an outdoor fire pit and an indoor fireplace are available and well stocked with wood we did not have a fire. Our visit was too early in the season for canoing or kayaking but both as well as water safety needs are available. We hope to return next year!"
