Legendary Waters Resort & Casino

8/10 Good

"This is a reasonably priced hotel about 5 miles from Bayfield. It is connected to a casino. We received a waterview room which was clean, comfortable and quiet but needed updating. The bathroom was large. Oddly there is just one dispenser for soap in the shower. There was no shampoo or conditioner. Not acceptable. Check in was the worst part as there was just one over-worked clerk checking in the 5 groups in line at 4:00 pm or a Wednesday. It took 20 minutes to get to our room. They need more help at the front desk. The hottub and pool area was not working. There is a lower patio next to the marina and water where one can sit but there are no food services there. There is one restaurant which we did not eat at. They have coffee in the lobby in the early morning."

"NIce hotel with excellent view of Lake Superior - Gitchee Gami - from the balcony rooms. Clean and all staff friendly and helpful. Be sure to get a parking space early. Room we were in, #15, looked recently remodeled. Only drawback is we could hear the people in the rooms next to us, but the nice A/C unit drowned that out."

"Monica was wonderful to work with! The condo was immaculate! Every detail was thought of from the kitchen to the rooms to the bathrooms. The location is walking distance to everything. I highly recommend this condo for anyone traveling to Bayfield. Thank you!"

"The property was as listed. It shows it's age a bit but met our weekend needs. Internet struggled even with owners suggestions on how to improve it but could stream TV. Would not use these as reasons to not book the property. I would give overall 4.5 stars if .5 stars were an option. It was between good and excellent. Would book again for a weekend stay."
