ZamZam - NOT a value for money

The carpet in the reception and on to the staircase is dirty. The room was large but lacked warmth. The flooring was tiled which gave the room a cold look. The shower area though had curtains was not separate from the rest of the bathroom, making the whole floor wet. No hand towels were provided, only a box of tissues. Light seeped in early in the morning through the glass pane of the door leading to the balcony (no curtains provided there) and also in the night from the corridor outside through the glass pane above the door. A noisy place - chatter from the other guests in the reception area could be heard into the room. A very poor location - it is in a very quiet neighbourhood and within miles of literally no commercial activity. The water in the swimming pool appeared dirty.

Gut für Veranstaltungen, mittelmäßig für Erholung

Das Hotel macht auf den ersten Blick einen sehr guten Eindruck, allerdings gab es für mich ein paar unschöne Details. Das Zimmer war schön groß mit kleiner Terrasse Richtung Pool, allerdings wurde es mit der Sauberkeit nicht so genau genommen. Das Fliesenmuster im Bad versteckt sehr gut den Schmutz, unter der Couch tauchten Haare und Staub auf. Das Bett war sauber, aber leider viel zu hart und für mich zu unbequem um erholsam zu schlafen. Dazu kam, dass ich um den 1. Mai dort war, was auch in Indonesien ein Feiertag ist - das Hotel war gut besucht und es wurde Abends gefeiert, was nicht zu überhören war. Für Veranstaltungen ist das Hotel gut geeignet, wer Ruhe haben möchte sollte ein anderes Hotel wählen. Die Aussicht über Batu ist toll, allerdings gibt es wenig Aussichtspunkte im oder um das Hotel. Zu Fuß kommt man in 15-20 min zum Transport - Museum, in die Stadt dauert es noch mal so lange. Taxi ist sehr günstig, hat aber eine Mindest-Pauschale von 30k IDR. Grab kostet die Hälfte, ist aber nicht immer/überall verfügbar.

Wet bathroom hate it!

Hotel was loud! Lobby music could here in my room. Not worth the price and can't afford free water? Come on!!! Wet bathroom!!! Nothing worse than wake up to pee and step on a wet floor because the shower drain is beside the toilet. I would never stay there again
