"Overall we enjoyed our stay. A couple things of note: Bringing black out shades is super helpful! The closet in the bedroom is big enough for a portable crib. Be sure to bring toilet paper. We only had one full and one partial roll between the two bathrooms(and they were paper thin). Because there isn’t anywhere super close, it’s nice to know to pack some ahead of time :) The road is so peaceful and we went on the trail quite a few times. It was a bit wet, so we didn’t make it all the way...

"Overall an average experience except for a few things, contact person did not call back or answer my text regarding hairdryer missing or open the garage door. The Keurig was not working , TV was not set up . The place was clean, great location, quiet and safe neighborhood. This place has the potential to be an awesome experience if attention is paid to the small details."

"This was honestly everything we hoped it would be! Beautiful landscape, river access, plenty of space at the Captains Lodge to relax and enjoy yourself or play games with the family. We enjoyed the entire stay! Internet was not great, but also we were fine with unplugging and just enjoying the nature. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys playing in the river and having BBQ and campfires with the comfort of an amazing house to rest your head (:"

"I’ll get right to the point - the reason for the lower check in process rating was that the address was listed wrong in the property details and we tried to get into someone else’s home. That being said, the owner responded fairly quickly, resolved the information snafu, provided compensation and the rest of our stay was completely stress free. "We had no complaints during our stay and found that the description "Charming Farm House" was very accurate. The location was nice, we enjoyed the fire pit (everything provided we needed from wood to fire starters) the hot tub and the cozy living room. Lots of character in this old house and the hosts were thoughtful in the things provided and communication."

"This place was a great spot to meet up with our friends! We had 4 adults and 4 kids and everyone loved it. This place is quiet and secluded it was very nice and didn’t seem like a rental it felt like a persons home. We were very comfortable. Also, the back patio area is amazing! We spent a lot of time sitting back there and I’m not joking when I say we cooked every meal on the blackstone grill! What a great setup!"
