I wanted to love this place but couldn't. Upon checkin was told the AC that cools the common areas just went out n there were 3 stand fans plus a ceiling fan. The fans just circulated the hot air. Bedrooms had AC so we were stuck in the rooms instead of gathering as family. The bathrooms weren't ventilated so they were hot too. Nights were no different. Jas explained he was waiting on a repair quote n promised to provide us with a portable cooling unit along with the missing remote for one of the bedroom units. That evening he said he was bringing a huge fan to cool the house. On day 3, after no communication I contacted him again n he brought another stand fan! He told me to open the doors n let the air in. This was not possible due to the cats n dogs that followed us up the stairs, plus critters/bugs. We couldnt cook because of the heat n the stove wasnt ventilated. There was a dirty plate with food n dirty linen in the cabinet in the main bedroom when tried to unpack so our stuff stayed in luggages. The floors needed cleaning and dust bunnies from under beds. The refrigerator didn't work well even at max so all our food spoiled within a day. Leftovers were wasted. The washer didn't work so we all left with dirty clothes. Also was stuck using the same linen n towels for 8 days because there were no extras. Jas was kind, but our lodging made our trip bad. I do believe once he takes care of all the problems that it will be a decent place to stay.
