"Food was average, expected better. Parking was outside the gates which implied that cars were not allowed inside the gates but there were also lots of cars inside the fences. I don't understand why the 2 tier parking system."
"Had a good stay. Car needed as beach access is limited directly from property though there is a “ secret” beach a reasonable walk away. Food was good with quite large portions. Room and private patio and gardens were very good. Speaking some basic French would be very helpful to you though staff did their best and there were fluent English speakers around most of the time. You are definitely in France but the experience is worth it. "
"I really enjoyed my stay in La Tortue Bleue. The pool and the rhum bar are definitely adding a touch of calm and relaxation to the place. Being used to hotels, I felt the indoor rooms and commodities could have been cleaner. Overall a very good experience. "

* no restaurant - the hotel emailed us 6 times before our stay. Not a single time did they let us know their cook had quit so they closed the restaurant. This was one of the reasons we had picked this hotel.
* no AC - the air conditioner wasn't working in our room with 90F weather. As it blew hot air, I turned it off and asked them to fix it. So insulting, they told me it worked, I just had to find the remote and turn it on! So I called...
