Excellent property. Our room had full windows on two sides. If you get the executive option there is access to wine, beer and food on the 30th floor.

Pros: - Staff are absolutely dedicated, knowledgeable and on top of things! - Trams stop right next to the hotel, and it's within walking distance to much of the town. Also, right next door to exhibition hall. Cons: - HVAC is mediocre at best, but they do at least have fans that will be brought to the room. Shouldn't be necessary though, particularly in winter! - Inhouse dining is good but truly expensive. - Rooms are pretty cramped.

Tram is right out the front door. Breakfast and dinner options were great. Staff was very helpful and spoke English. The room we had was worth the money, lots of extras included. Would definitely stay there again.

Clean, modern hotel with friendly staff. We had a room on the 13th floor so had a great view of the city. There’s was no apparent recycling facilities in the room so I am unsure if this is carried out hence low eco-friendly rating. Over all great stay and good connectivity to city centre via trams

A good choice for Basel conference center
Nice hotel, a few steps from Basel conference center and in relative proximity to the city center. The only drawback is that the rooms are a bit tight for 2 people.

Disappointing.
We chose the hotel because Biking use it and we were cruising with them. Disappointed with location and the service was not what we would expect from a hotel at this level. Executive Lounge was worthwhile having with a comfortable area to relax or play cards, and adequate food and wine.

The hotel has good reception and restaurants but the rooms are very small. More over the air conditioning was mot working and despite repeated requests they were unable to fix it. Did not change rooms indicating fully booked and offered us “great service” by giving us a fan to place in the room. Lol Had two sleepless nights and were counting when we could get out.

Everything works
This is my preferred hotel in Basel. Everything just works. However, this time I got a super small room with a great pillar in front of the window. Mind you, the window only had a view of a giant roof so maybe I didn't miss much. I guess this was just one of the less lucky rooms.

Rooms were very clean and modern. Maybe too modern, every control switch was like a I-Pad. One recommendation would be the need for better instructions on simple things like turning light switches on. Overall very nice, and when in Switzerland remember everything is costly.

Unfortunately I came in late in the day and was sick, so I spent most of the night & next day in bed. So difficult to rate. I did not find anything later in the evening open for dinner, streets around the hotel were dark. It has been over 20 years since I was last in Europe. I could have used a review of what was in the room and how to access and/or to turn on/off. Breakfast at the hotel had a great selection. I was able to change to a late checkout for a small charge. Hotel staff quickly called for a taxi to transport me to the dock where I picked up the ship for my river cruise.

The AC did not work and the city was very hot 98F. Also eventhough I checked in at 10am I had to wait in line again for 30 mins to get my room key at 3pm. There was a long line at 3pm and only 1 person at the desk. Despite using the button to request roomservive they never came to clean the room. The room was nice but I would not recommend it and would not stay there in rhe future.

My room was on the 8th floor with a great view, spacious and very, very clean..however, there was a distict bad smell (sewage?) as soon as i approached my room in the hallway. I'm not sure if this was the case in other floors, but it was present in mine. Also, tbe carpets while kept very clean and vacuumed were old and showing wear..

I did not like the twin comforters on the bed. I would have preferred on large comforter that covered the entire sleeping surface.
