"We did not have a lift to the rooms we were allocated. Rooms were great. Parking was great. Entrance to the hotel is not great. Best to drive slowly to avoid damaging the vehicle. Surroundings appear a bit lonely."

"We have a duplex 2 bedrooms unit on the second floor. Very convenient to major attractions. You can even order your baguette and pastries the day before and pick them up at front desk after 8:30 am. The location is close to the train station and the streets leading to the place are paved and flat so that you can wheel your suitcases easily instead of on cobblestone street if you decided on a place in old town."

Easy walk to the quaint shops in Old Town and if you walk right across the park you'll find a hidden gem - a Botanical Garden established in the 1500s! We loved our stay at Hotel Rochat. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so memorable. "

"Very comfortable and very clean room with ample space. Parking, although paid for, was convenient. Public transport pass to Basel centre was offered to us for free for the duration of our stay . Breakfast was very good. No complaints. Will definitely book again."
