"We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and it truly made the occasion memorable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special, adding thoughtful touches that made the experience unforgettable. "While the hotel looks centrally located, it is down a charmless side street, next to a wedding venue that is incredibly loud in the evenings. The front desk staff was friendly, they were initially unable to help with most problems (shower not working, etc) and when they said they’d send someone, I inevitably had to follow up twice. The kitchen restaurant (and “pool”) is located in a charmless basement, and kitchen staff was downright rude and argumentative when asked for room service, which was supposed to be standard. Bellboys expected to be tipped for doing nearly nothing, and the desk clerk wouldn’t allow me to pay for incidentals with a credit card because “he needed cash.” All in all, a disappointment."
