"We visited during the summer with 4 kids (including one baby) and 4 adults. We had a great experience and would stay here again.It is clear that Andrea has put a lot of work into this house--there are lots of signs of new improvements throughout the building and property. We were especially happy with the pool, screened porch, and back patio as amenities. The house was clean and the kitchen was the most well-equipped of any of the short-term rentals I've stayed in, which was great because we like to cook. Andrea was also extremely responsive and communicative. It is notable that there is a bassinet and crib at the property, which I don't recall being mentioned in the listing. That could have saved us bringing our own. Canaan is also a very cute little town--we only selected it because of its proximity to the Berkshires, but we ended up in Canaan as much as Great Barrington and it was great. Andrea did warn us that the road is quite busy with truck traffic on weekdays--this didn't impact our experience, but it made running or walking from the house impossible on those days.I would absolutely stay here again. Pros: -Great location-Clean, well-appointed house-Playground, fire pit, fenced in pool, and second living area make it especially kid-friendly-Great hostCons:-Minor, but I have never been required to purchase insurance to stay in a property before. The only alternative to this was to provide a very significant deposit months in advance."

"We stayed at Sabrina's cottage for a family gathering. The kitchen is very well stocked, which made it easy and enjoyable for us to cook meals together. Comfortable beds and a very quiet street made for excellent sleep. The layout is open and airy, giving the feeling of plenty of space for everyone. Every part of the house was immaculate. We had only one quick question for Sabrina during our stay and she answered it quickly. Overall, a wonderful experience!!"

"We had a wonderful 2-day stay at this charming house! The location is perfect, nestled near the mountains with breathtaking views. The house itself is clean and cozy, with comfortable bedrooms stocked with extra blankets and pillows. The spacious bathrooms (both upstairs and downstairs!) had plenty of towels, a big plus.We loved relaxing by the fireplace, playing games, and even tickling the ivories on the piano - it added to the homey vibe!Kudos to Casey, who quickly fixed our fridge issue - super responsive and friendly!We'd definitely return, especially in summer.
