"The food was not a wow. Some of seasonings used was not that tasty but the over all it was good. The staff are helpful and pleasant."

"Breathtaking views, beautiful architecture, and a stunning lobby make this a very welcoming place to stay. I was truly impressed by the appearance of the hotel—it is elegant, beautifully designed, and blends perfectly with the surrounding rainforest. The room was clean and comfortable, and the restaurant experience was excellent. The swimming pool is fantastic—beautiful, relaxing, and a wonderful place to unwind after a day of exploring. The items sold on the property, such as tours, bottled water, and gifts, were fairly expensive, but that's common for resort hotels and did not take away from our experience. I personally really enjoyed staying here and would happily return. By the way, don't forget to visit the hotel's library. It feels like something straight out of Harry Potter!"

"We loved our time at this property and would definitely recommend others to visit during their time in Panama. Sure, the lodges are a little rustic in places but they are perfectly comfortable. The setting in the lake is beautiful, with a great pool, free kayaking facilities and places to completely switch off. I loved how calm and relaxing the place was. Most importantly, the staff are superb. Friendly, attentive and fantastic hosts. We felt well looked after here. The food on offer was great, and food & drinks reasonably priced. Top tip would be to make sure of the kayaking and boat trips. Definitely book the Monkey Island trip – we loved this trip and made the stay even more memorable."

"Such an amazing stay, from the house, to the surroundings and the owner. We used all the recommendations (Kamir is a great cook and wonderful person), went on a boat tour and enjoyed the Embera trip. It was our first time in the jungle and Gamboa was a great experience. Safe and friendly all around!"
