"Tortuguero is such a cute town! We weren’t sure we wanted to make the drive but we loved it. The boat ride from La Pavona is beautiful and the town is great for walking around and shopping. We took a guided night hike and saw a turtle laying eggs on the beach! The staff were very nice and helpful and the air conditioning in the rooms was nice. Only stayed one night but loved it!"

The only improvement I would suggest is a fridge and coffee maker in the room, and we think someone could make some money offering a bag carrying service from the port with a cart! It’s very hot with heavy bags. But overall a lovely stay - thank you! "

area. The rooms and common areas were clean and comfortable. No tvs so you can relax but connected to strong WiFi should you need that. Access to beach walks and canal tours. Friendly staff helpful when you have questions. Lots of birds and wildlife come up to the property gardens, Pura vida. "
