"This was one of our favourite hotel stays ever! Beautiful wood panelled lodge set into the hills of the Black Forest. The room was spotless and the food at dinner and breakfast was faultless too. The service was friendly throughout. The view from the beer garden alone is worth coming for. 10/10 P.s. It’s a personal preference thing but I like to have two pillows. There was only one in the room so do ask at the desk if you prefer two"

"Magnificent setting on beautiful Ill River. Beautiful suite with everything one could ask for. Each and every member of the staff was professional, warm and helpful. The dining, especially the incredible Auberge de l'Ill restaurant and the beautiful breakfasts overlooking the Ill were spectacular. We will remember this experience forever!"

"Staff was friendly and helpful with providing information for transportation. The room was amazing and spacious. Really enjoyed the jacuzzi next to the bed and the patio view. Breakfast had a great variety and was delicious."
